If I have a 2 door with the 2.7L, take the doors and front roof panels off, will I be able to pop a wheelie?

I'll put my money on the Base 2.7 with lightweight 30" tires in addition to lower vehicle weight.. Should easily beat a BD. Base 2.7 - 5.5 seconds 0-60.
I ordered BaseSquatch 2.7L and I definitely care about acceleration and going as fast as I can on the highway. BaseSquatch 2.7 - 6.5 seconds 0-60? Not sure how much slower the 35s will be, but it will be substantial.
The base has 373 gears with the 10 speed and no locker option. A big bend with locker 4.27 will win.I'll put my money on the Base 2.7 with lightweight 30" tires in addition to lower vehicle weight.. Should easily beat a BD. Base 2.7 - 5.5 seconds 0-60.

I couldn't agree more. These guys think a Bronco is going to be "fast"? Then they have no idea what fast is, obviously. Merging? Seriously? Might as well make your first mod some mufflers. No one that talks about fast, talks about 0-60. That's for guys that magazine-race their usually rented, er, leased, vehicles. Weak. And that's all this talk is: "My magazine says my car is faster than yours; no, my magazine says mine is faster..." Weak. BTW, It's 1/4 mile and more importantly, trap speed - are you still accelerating (hard) when you hit the 1/4? *That's* what matters. (Then there's the whole brake thing...)Why? It's an offroad vehicle. If you care about the 0-60, you maybe should be looking at a different vehicle.
