I've owned my Bronco for exactly a year now...and what a year it's been.

One year ago today I flew out to Kansas City to pick up my Bronco in Richmond, MO. I drove back to Colorado, taking a section of Route 66...and what an epic road trip it was.

I've put about 14,000 miles in the first year...in addition to the Route 66 trip, I've had it out to Moab, UT and Telluride, CO. I primarily use my Bronco to get me up in the mountains here in Colorado to go running mountain trails (I'm an ultra runner) as well as to go fishing in various back-country lakes and reservoirs. It's got a lot of miles in the dirt, mud and snow. I've not had a single issue on or off-road and I couldn't be any happier with my Bronco. It's exceeded all of my expectations over the past year and I plan to keep this beast for many years to come. I did purchase the 10yr/125,000mi Ford PremiumCARE Warranty which gives me peace of mind, years down the road.

Here are a few photos (from the assembly line, to the dealer and a few taken recently) as well as a 10-minute video going over the Bronco and what I love about it.

LOVE the write up and LOVE the pics.
Where did you find the 35" wheel cover. I love it. I have the sas package also. I've been looking and I don't like Fords.
Thank's and I'm glad you love your truck.

Most definitely. It's been a fun year and I already have a big road trip planned in a couple of months. I'm retiring next month after 36 years and taking an epic road trip visiting 10 National Parks..."National Parks of the Grand Circle". (Colorado, Arizona & Utah)

Grand Circle.jpeg
Love the pictures and congrats on retirement!

If you have the time to spare, I would suggest stopping in Sedona, 45 minutes south of Flagstaff. You won't be disappointed. Red rock, lots of hiking and several off-road trails (Broken Arrow and Schnebly Hill are popular) as well as shops and restaurants.

When heading to the Grand Canyon, I would suggest taking 40W to Williams (Route 66 town), then north on 64 which takes you to the visitor center. You can then take 64E out of GCNP to Cameron to not backtrack. You can also take 180 out of Flagstaff which is a nice forest drive if you want to bypass Williams. Just south of Page on 89 is Horseshoe Bend, also worth an hour or so to check out.

Is that a 2001 Bulliitt as a stable mate? Your Bronco look is great and glad you’re so happy with it. I finally get to pick my Bronco up on Wed. And have a road trip home can’t wait for the ride.

Love the bumper, especially with the built-in fogs. Does everything I want it to do and it looks great...especially when adding a little color to the shackles.

Interior need a splash of color and this is what I came up with. The two mountains on the decals are actually mountains here in Colorado....Flatirons and Longs Peak. Just another easy way to personalize my Bronco.
Nice report - thanks for sharing. I climbed Longs Peak last July with my son, our first 14'er hike.

Thanks for the suggestions! I just may head to Sedona as well.

I've been to the Grand Canyon several times...I ran R2R2R twice in 2021. Not sure if I'll run it again this year, but if I do, I won't have much time to explore with the Bronco. Here's my Strava info from one of my runs in 2021. Such an incredibly beautiful and challenging run.

Yes, original owner of my 2001 Bullitt. I put it on the track a few times a year and enjoy the performance. I waited 22 years to make some engine mods, but finishing up things this month. Pulled the engine and took everything down to the block...bored and stroked to 5.0, forged internals and supercharged.

Wishing you the best with your Bronco...enjoy that road trip to the fullest. You're gonna LOVE that Bronco!

Nothing like summiting a 14er...especially with family! I run Quandary and Pikes Peak quite a bit in the summer when I'm training and what a rush that is going up every time.
