Best post on this thread! Thank you!
And yet you still decided to open the thread up and read. Don't know what's worse.

This Bronco Forum really turned into a toxic waste land. Alot of disgruntled angry people here.

Not even worth trying to start a conversation or ask a question anymore.

The bottom line is just because dealerships have been ordering Broncos and screwing over reservation holders and selling them on their lots for over msrp that's not the same thing as the general public walking in without a reservation and ordering for msrp. Not even close.
I’m confused what it is you’re even saying here. Everyone reserved in 2020 and ordered in January-March 2021. After that you had to make a “reservation” like in 2020 but all it was, was essentially a information request as the dealer would reach out and order your Bronco within a few days. They were essentially walk in orders and after they closed the reservations, it was strictly walk in orders for months. So yeah, lots of people ordered without a reservation.

Anyone know if I can fit 35's on a Base without removing the crash bars?
Yes, provided you use some ridiculous lift, wheel offset, or huge spacers (or some combination of the previous modifications); but why would you do that?!?

That entirely depends on what you order. If you order a Base or Big Bend with minimal upgrades, you may get it in 3-6 months. If you order a completely maxed out Wildtrak or Badlands—you may not see for 8+ months
18 months and I still don't have my BASE. One of the largest 100 dealers in the country (not Granger). If my AUX switches are constrained we are all doomed, because AUX and Rapid Red were literally the only adds.

Base, Big Bend, or OBX FOUR-Door squishy top and I would bet 3-4 months.

2-door is still ridiculously constrained. 4-door MIC will stay rediculously constrained until Q3 or whenever MOD top becomes available.

And I agree Badlands or Wildtrack is probably 9-12 months. We have 1st day Wildtrack reservations that are not filled yet.

Should be interesting to see how it works out. I wonder how long it will take someone without a reservation walking into the dealership in November placing an order to get their Bronco?

Took me 2 years 11 days with a reservation. Hopefully the supply chain issues have eased up some and they can pump them out faster.
Took me < 7 months, ordered 12/8/21, took delivery 7/5/22. I was a October 2020 Granger reservation, but found a local dealer who had allocation but not many reservations. Not a ton of sins, but was a 2 door hard top.

OK, I'll play along .... going for 2nd best post in this thread.

NO, they will not fit without removing the crash bars unless it gets lifted to the moon or some such hillbilly shit.
However, once you remove them, a lift is not needed to fit 35's for street driving.
I do not recommend trail riding or offroading without some amount of lift. 35's will rub under articulation.
Here's my base Base, no lift, 35's on Methods, 17 x 8.5 w/ +35mm offset.

I was talking to a dealership today and they said Ford is planning on opening up the full size Bronco orders sometime in the 4th quarter of this year to everyone. No reservations needed.

Anyone else hear this? Sounds like if true all reservation holders may get filled by the end of the year unless you opt for a Heritage edition.

Don't know how true this is being people are already getting pushed to 2023?!?
There is ZERO chance that Ford is going to fill all reservations by the end of the year. My money says they don’t even fill them all by the end of MY23.

Sorry I don't live my entire life on the Forums reading every singe post every single day.

And the search tool is soooo efficient here let me tell ya! 🙄

If you see a thread or question that has been answered already and you don't want to read or get involved how freaking hard is it just to ignore it??

Dude, lighten up. Guy made a joke, I appreciated it and complimented him. I'm neither disgruntled nor angry about anything, much less a car.

@BlueBronco is kind of correct (and obviously super jaded by the whole process).

But the actual answer is they need to take orders in advance—even if they cannot build all of those orders—so they know which components they need to order from their suppliers. It's a brand new vehicle so they don't past history to look at to determine what components they'll need from suppliers. Granted they do have a year and a half of history already, but what configurations the early adopters buy may not be the same configurations the general public buys after the vehicle has been out for awhile.
Absolutely - and to make matters worse, even the original assessments of where early adopters would shake out was totally wrong - probably because it was based on Toyota 4 Runner and Jeep historical data. Ford had no idea that so many more people would be opting for the higher trim levels and was in no way (aside from the supply chain problems) prepared for the demand that the Bronco buyers were putting on them.

There is no need for Ford to open them back up, they just choose to keep fluffing the numbers for their stock reports nevermind there are many first/second day hell even first week orders not fulfilled. Ford says futre dealer orders will be restricted in trim, but even then they all still use parts and most importantly allocation.

Pretty sad that's what it comes down to. I just hope all reservation holders from 2020 get there Broncos soon. 🙏
