Curious as to why you don’t have the second set of fogs turned on as well? Might as well use them all. If it’s because the the high beams that can be changed in forscan. That’s a lot light 👍

Yep, I'm really leaning toward getting the light bar with my points. Was going to get the soft top but overpaying so much does not sit right. Unless the wind blows another direction I'll be ordering that light bar soon.

Thank for posting. It ain't Baja Designs but a solid choice for sure.

Do these fog lights fit the modular bumper in the poor man’s Bronco?

Thanks for starting this thread. Your Raptor looks BOSS Cactus Jack! ;)

With my 2Dr “finally” on the way, “maybe” (since it’s been built) “supposedly”, I’m now looking at that Rigid light bar. Do you know if it came with an Amber cover or just the white? Did you do the install yourself or let the dealership or shop?

I’d like to roll it into the cost of the purchase when I go In to be raped by the finance guy in the dealership, but hope they don’t screw up the install ”aiming” or take too long to get it done.

Also, why use AUX 1? Isn’t that the one with more wattage? Do you plan to ever run an inflator or use a portable?

Sorry for all the questions, but your posts have always been so informative, thought, why not just ask?

Thanks and Happy New Year! 🤗
I bought the Ford Performance Rigid 40” Roof Mount bar at CJPonyparts.com for under $1000. It currently is for sale at $1018, but you should be able to use a promo code like SOCIAL6 to get an additional 6% off. Ford Performance is priced at $1350. Lead time is about three weeks.

I will install myself, my truck just got delivered right before Christmas. It looks pretty straightforward wiring with or without upfitter switches. Plenty of videos of Rigid or other light bar installs to walk you through your installation.

Standard Broncos use Aux 1 for 30 amp. This is the switch to use for amp light bar unless you have a relay,

I haven’t unpacked the box, but I’m pretty sure it does not include amber covers.

Last thoughts, you could use your Ford Pass Points received for purchase of your Bronco if you buy from the dealer.

Good luck with your decision.

Thank you for the advice. Hadn’t thought about the points, but you’re right. Will also check out that site you mention where the bar is cheaper.

I plan to go Baja Designs for the fogs and I will go amber there. May also do Baja for the Pods/ditch lights and will likely go amber for those. Mostly want amber down low, but wanted to see about a mix for the array if that makes any sensue, although not sure this bar can do that.

Happy New Year!

Installed the Ford Performance RIGID light bar and ditch lights on Bronco Raptor. It’s incredible how much of a difference the lighting makes. Regular headlights are like candle light in comparison.

AUX-1: Factory RIGID Fog Lights
AUX-2: Ford Performance RIGID Ditch Lights
AUX-3: Ford Performance RIGID Light Bar

Video clip shows lights activated (In order 1, 2, & 3) on a backroad with no traffic.

Coolest thing about the ditch lights is the covers! 🤪

Nice looks really nice I've been looking at a Braptor local dealer has out front I'm sure they are 20-30k over sticker if not more.

I currently have a 21 outerbanks and after a few weeks of owning I purchased and installed the KC highlights as ditch lights. Those things are bright and lightup the sides and way down road, i also have the amber covers for them. They are a bit pricey but we'll worth in my opinion. Looking to order their light bar in the near feature.

In agreement here. Got points burning a hole in my pocket, no other retailer takes the ford points so either use 'em or lose 'em. With the bad design of the soft top I've settled on the light bar and brake controller. The 220K plus buying two vehicles lately and a few from before leaves very little to come out of pocket for the two accessories.

Rigid has a kit for those of us that wish we had a Raptor. I just installed it on mine. The SAE fogs are connected to an OEM headlight switch with the fog light button and the other four are connected to AUX6.

Raptor upfitter switch are different than the rest of the Bronco's.
1=10 amp
2=15 amp
3=30 amp
4=10 amp
5=10 amp
6=10amp.

1 is the off road lights from the factory
I can’t remember, but is there a way to reorder these? Is it as straightforward as swapping the fuses? Would like to have my Aux 2 & 3 to be 10amp and use the 15 or 30 amp switches for Aux 5/6. Basically would like to have other low-power lighting be used next to the pre-installed Aux 1 Fogs and use higher-power items (ARB, etc) for the other end of the Upfitter panel.

I am not sure. Different amperage requires different wire. The 10 amp circuits have smaller wire.

been wanting to see how good those Ford Performance ditch lights work. Your video is just what I needed. Now after I mount a set I might see those deer before they get into the middle of the road......

I will likely never use a roof mount light bar again. I had the Rigid 50” on my Ford Raptor and it was not a great experience for real-world off-road use. The noise can be solved by using the rubber harmonic resonance dampers, but the light reflects off the windshield and the hood. The glare is very noticeable and distracting. My Raptor had about 2 million lumens in total, so the roof light was overkill. If I had to use a roof bar, I would go with 100% spot pattern - no driving or flood combos. You may see them on Baja racing trucks, but most of them don’t have windshields.
