No Zone Lighting or Securialert on 2022 Bronco Raptor Ford Pass App?

Apple iPhone here and had the option on my Wildtrak but not on my Raptor.

I just picked up my '23 Badlands MT with Lux package and using an iPhone and the only options I have on the FordPass app is lock/unlock and horns/lights.

I took delivery in September, I do not remember if I had zone lighting on the app back then, but I do not have it now.

I suspect they stopped enabling that feature after a certain production date:

my 22 badlands had it until today when the dealer disconnected and then reconnected my vehicle to the fordpass account...

my 22 black diamonds (i purchased 2) both produced after the badlands never had the securialert function...

a ford pass customer service rep just told me over the phone that if a :master reset: occurs then it will lose the securialert feature. Currently that feature is not released and is scheduled to be re-released in the future (3rd quarter of this year 2023)

I finally figured out how to get Zone Lighting in my FordPass app. Found the fix over on The Bronco Nation.

1. In FordPass app, go to account (upper right on Home Screen), find the bronco, copy the VIN, then remove vehicle

2. In FordPass app, back to account, ADD Vehicle (top half of screen), it will ask for VIN, paste from earlier

3. The app will go looking for your Bronco, might need cell coverage or Wi-Fi (unsure which or either), to see it

4. If it sees your Bronco, it will add it to the app, and then will tell you to activate the car on the app, and then in the vehicle….

5. If successful, you will be asked in runNing vehicle to approve connection to FordPass…

6. FordPass will show “Activation Pending” on your vehicle.

7. After 30 minutes or so, you should be golden…

Unfortunately, the fix is not universal. I tried it multiple ways (as written; deleting app and reinstalling; turn off Bluetooth etc.) and finally gave up and called the Ford Pass team. Their first response was that my Raptor does not have zone lighting. I told them it does -- I use it. THey then took a couple of minutes and got back to me stating that the issue had to be elevated to their technical department and that they would get back to me in 3-5 business days. Very friendly people. I will let you know what they say when they get back to me.
