It's the angle of the impact and where/how the Bronco got hit NOT a matter of which is stronger. If a kid came and whacked you in the knee cap you'd probably still fall stronger or not.
Im not just talking about being stronger when taking a hit on the road… im talking about just a stronger design over all (off-road, wear and tear parts, less moving parts, etc. )

What the hell. Suspension looks upright in the tangled photo. Jeep driver should have reversed to untangle but 2nd photo seems to show that after the tangled photo op they just drove on through and took out the left corner underneath. Or was the jeep holding the Bronco up on the 1st photo?
Looks like the knuckle broke in half during impact, the bumper of the jeep is just holding the tire up before moving away.

It's been reported that those hollow knuckles break on their own, never mind a lateral impact.
Probably the impact is overblown due to the fact that the jeep has a heavy duty aftermarket bumper.

The Jeep was obviously setting up to crawl your driver front tire for parking. This is a habit often seen in the wild especially where there are large gatherings of Wranglers.

More information from the OP is needed to determine why the Jeep attempted to crawl his driver side front tire.

Had a little bump bump. The Jeep drove away, I got towed away. I hope it doesn’t take forever on parts.

A few of us are guessing that he, the Bronco, pulled out into the Jeep's lane. Looks like the Jeep did a last second dive to the left to avoid, but couldn't.

C'mon now, we all know a Bronco owner is the smartest, most adept driver anywhere. I blame this entirely on Ford quality control as he was just driving along when all of a sudden ...
