I just bought a new 2024 Outer Banks and the cargo area seems poorly lit.
I've found several suppliers of, "Multi Angle Interior LED Lights" which replace the OEM light.
They all look almost identical and prices range from around $115 to just under $50 on eBay.
These are the ones that have several rows of leds and fit over the rear roof bar, plug in where the OEM light was, and attach with 3M tape.
I'm wondering if anyone has installed any of these and can recommend any or all.
Thanks in advance.

I bought the AIGMUX one on a lark when they were running a sale. Pretty underwhelming. It is brighter, but it's not really brighter enough to be worth the money.

I'd recommend just sticking some battery powered lamps or some 12V ones and plug em into the power point back there and turning them on when you need em.

I went through the hassle of installing some hardwired lights for the cargo area and would not recommend going this route. One of the main limiting factors of this is if you tie it to nine the cigarette lighter, it times out, or is not available if the door has been open for a while.
It's become so problematic that I've gone back to looking for some magnetic, battery powered or rechargeable LEDs

A simple rechargeable light does the trick. Plus, you can detach it and use it elsewhere when needed.

Ford has a Mustang LED trunk light accessory that's about 2' long and very bright that is probably plug and play I should have taken it from my Mustang before sale. I will order another can always return if doesn't fit or can't be retrofit. Two way tape can just stick it to side panel or bar.

This was pretty easy to install and leaves you with the capability of controlling it from the driver's seat as well as coming on when the doors are opened.

Hello Mabett,

I've tried replying and dm'ing and received no replies from you.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Please let me know the best way to reach you.

Thanks, Bill

This a really good magnetic light from Harbor Freight that I've used. They have a 2100 lumen version for twice the price if you really need it.

Hi Beach Tiger,

Thanks for the suggestion.

I actually have the Snap-on version of this light.

I never thought of using it in the Bronco.

It should work fine until I hear back ffrom Mabett.
