CarPlay w/ Siri instead of Ford Assistant?

My Bronco so far has no problems connecting to my phone for CarPlay using either wireless or USB. However, when I push the voice command button on the steering wheel, the Ford voice assistant pops up. I'd prefer to use Siri instead. I've gone though every menu I can find, but haven't found the option to disable Ford in favor of Siri. Is this possible?

Hold the button down and Siri should show up.

Interesting! The other day I was testing music playing from a USB (A) memory stick and wanted to try the voice capabilities. Hit the button, get Ford Assist, ask to play music and get the; "You cannot do this with CarPlay connected.

Use “Hey Siri” or as @brkdncr said, press and hold the voice button to manually activate her

Tried the press and hold instead of simply tapping the button, and Siri is working. Thanks for the info.

I was just used to my F150 where a single tap would activate Siri if CarPlay was active.
