thank you! Definitely learning a lot and will probably end up with a combination of various parts for what works best for me.
I would like to mount the arb compressor in the engine bay, would you happen to know if it rated for all weather?

So coming back from KOH, we had to deflate my friends Jeep’s tires when we hit the off-road trails. And what a difference in ride quality it made! And then at the end of the trail, some 20 miles later we had to pull over and inflate the tires up again and that seems to take forever.
Ignoring the CTIS, an air tank will help with the speed factor on refilling your tires. Of course the tank will need to be refilled (number of times is dependent on how much the tank can hold). A combination of tank and high volume/pressure compressor is probably your best bet.

What size tank should be good for the 35’s? And where would you put it in the bronco ?

I have a feeling the 2.7 wont allow for the arb twin compressor To be mounted under the hood. Reason I have portable options is because I have 3 offroad rigs and 2 of those 3 also are tow vehicles that have the anderson connector at the rear bumper that can power the compressors without opening the hood. Many times Im airing 6 tires up (4 on tow vehicle & 2 on offroad camper). Anywhere from 35” MT tires to the wife's 32” AT tires.

all weather as in what? Exposed to the elements? If its under the hood its fine.

Great points! Without being the overlanding type, when I was more involved in my youth, a small tank, 5 gallon-ish seemed ok for a tire or two (my homebrew solution was hack and I was 18 at the time). Maybe a towing supply search might be more detailed. At worst case the tank would be in the trunk area. It isn't a full solution of course but whatever time you save on 1 or 2 or 3 tires would be time saved. As well, it would also be less stress, and chance, of your compressor failing and leaving you with a lower pressure tire. Of course at that point, if needed you could always swap out the spare for the low pressure last tire.

Just ideas to think about.

This might be reasonable info, at least for pondering.

I know, I was just messing around. The write up is excellent and is heavily influencing my decision on what system to buy, but still not sure in which direction I want to go.

There was a company a while back called Truck Lungs that made steel nerf bars that doubled as air tanks that could hold like 10 lbs of air in each side, and you could plumb them to an onboard compressor. Not sure if they're still around, the guy was having issues with the company he was working with getting them out.

Hoping to mount mine under the passenger seat. It will be a little cleaner, and I don’t plan on doing any massive water Ford’s. Plus it will be wired to the ejection seat switch!
