I got both Broncos ceramic coated over the weekend with AvalonKing Armor Shield. See how the product holds up.

Ha! nice....I never wash my Bronco saving thousands of $$$
I hand wax mine twice a year and save hundreds of $s.
The process to ceramic coat a car is almost identical to waxing one. I'd recommend buying a decent ceramic coat and applying it instead of waxing it next timeI hand wax mine twice a year and save hundreds of $s.
Exactly. It's actually easier and lasts longer. Granted the super high end stuff is expensive but tge cheap stuff works well enough and last twice as long as waxThe process to ceramic coat a car is almost identical to waxing one. Any recommendations on 'the cheap stuff'? I have some of the Mothers Stuff - CMX Wash & Coat, and Spray Coating. Good enough? I probably need to also buy the polish & Coat. Or - should I go with a different product line? Thx!Exactly. It's actually easier and lasts longer. I tend to do paint correction anyway.Ceramic is more a very labor intensive cleaning/polishing process. First a thorough wash and removing all bug, tar, etc. Then clay bar. Then orbital buff/polish with high grade polisher compound. Then finish up with a super good wax and polish. I have done it before- it's a process.
Dont know CMX. I'm just a home mechanic who DIY's stuff. Not a detailer...Any recommendations on 'the cheap stuff'? I have some of the Mothers Stuff - CMX Wash & Coat, and Spray Coating. Good enough? I probably need to also buy the polish & Coat. Or - should I go with a different product line? Thx!
