Yeah mine has done the same since day one, very randomly, and only at cold start too. After it calms down, the Bronco drives fine with no other issues. But wondering for how long, though.

Before this thread I attempted to explain it to my dealer, but was really hard to put into words. I tried to capture it on my phone too, but since it's so random I haven't had a chance to do so. With that, I just shared this post with my dealer in hopes of shedding light on this. @Ford Motor Company
I don't have much to add, but I have experienced what you and OP have described probably 5 times in the last couple of months or so. Lasts +/- 10 seconds or so and always from a cold start. Worries me while it's happening, then I forget about it until the next random occurrence. Something to keep an eye on I guess.

Yup. Same here. It drives fine after the fact. Just so odd that it's such a random, occurrence.
If it's hiccups, not too worried, didn't mod it really other than the plug, but if it turns out to be more...

This news troubles me. I have a 2011 F-150 that is an automatic and once or twice a month it will give me a ‘hard’ shift going from 1st to 2nd. I was really looking forward to not having any transmission issues. Oh well…..

It hasn't worried me too much. However, I wouldn't mind seeing what codes it throws.

One of us needs to get quality video. I've noticed the tach goes nuts once the engine starts getting unloaded/loaded. That should be part of the potential clip. As well as our feet; out of the clutch and ideally off the throttle.

I'll try to keep my phone ready whenever I'm in a safe area to capture. Glad I may not be the only one.
Sounds like it may be engine software.

I had one of the few ‘04 BMW 530s in the US with a manual. They loaded the automatic software into it and when you got up around 5000 rpm (right to the good part of the power curve) it would loose power thinking the automatic was about to shift. They finally came up with manual specific software a year before I sold it and bought the JKUR. (That was the last time I bought the first model year of a car …)

I would ask your dealer to reload the engine software and make sure it is for the manual.

Interesting. My Bronco does seem pretty sluggish in normal mode, if that's relevant at all. Sport mode the thing flies.

Did the obd2 scan, no issue, but now keyfob isn’t detected and I doubt it’s because of the top

I think mine has done it a handful of times in about 1800mi. it's so infrequent I think it's just me messing up the clutch release because the pedal is so light.
