Geez. Agree with other posts....not gonna do this.Good video for those who want to see the internals of these 10 speed transmissions.
They're still trying to figure that one out.How long is the assembly video?
You do what for a living? Make videos or rebuild transmissions? If you rebuild transmissions, give us your thoughts on the 10R80. Would love to hear your point of view!I do this for a living, should’ve had me do it for them!
I own a 6l80 and I’ll tell you right now that transmission is pure shit. 44k miles talk to me when your drive train warranty is out and then you’re buying a $6000 transmission.I own the GM version and it's been fantastic (44,000 miles). I assume you don't own one. Enjoy your Chinese manual.
Truth in that but, they didn't use it in the automatic only GT500, wonder why.Not sure why yall are dogging the 10 speed. People are abusing the hell out of them on the dragstrip pushing way over 1000 hp and going into the 8 second zone and they are holding up well. Should be plenty strong enough for a bronco
I repair transmissions at a dealership level and i must say that you folks have stepped up build quality on these, the least problematic auto in yearsI build transmissions for the Ford plant in sharonville Ohio and so I’m a bit biased.
You don't actually consider the DCT an automatic, do you?Truth in that but, they didn't use it in the automatic only GT500, wonder why.
Never mind Hot Rod answered that.

It's all ball bearings these days. He's going to need to prepare the Fetzer valve with some 3 in 1 oil and gauze pads.
Wayyyy back when I saw an AT disassembled for the 1st time I said to myself I will never, ever do anything more complex with an AT than check the fill level with the dipstick. Anything more than that and I'm just some ape jumping around a black monolith.Bout cracked a rib, the guy off camera singing along was hilarious. I loved this video.
And it's confirmed I will never EVER attempt to work on a transmission.
