So there are two types of Co pilot 360? The high package comes with one and lux comes with another? What's the difference? Does the version in the Bronco actually allow hands off steering?
Thanks

It irritates the shit out of me that Ford won't bother to enable stop and go or lane centering on the Bronco. There is ZERO reason to have these disabled on a $60k rig.Co-pilot360 is a name for a whole family automated features, some of which aren't even available in the full-size Bronco.
Here are the features available on every Bronco:
And the features available with the Mid package:
- Auto high-beams
- Hill start assist
- Pre-collision assist with emergency braking
- Post-collision braking
- Forward collision warning
- Rear view backup camera
- Hill descent control
And the feature available in the Lux package:
- Blind spot information system w/ cross-traffic alerts
- Lane-keeping assist
---
- Evasive Steering Assist
- Adaptive Cruise Control
BUT, there are a ton of Co-pilot360 features that aren't even available in the Bronco:
- Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control
- Parking Assist
- Trailer Backup Assist
- BlueCruise - (This is the hands-off steering feature)
- Adaptive Cruise Control w/ Stop & Co
- Lane Centering Assist
- Rain Sensing Wipers
- etc. etc.
You have the manual transmission option to thank for that. (Sorry, I bought one.)It irritates the shit out of me that Ford won't bother to enable stop and go or lane centering on the Bronco. There is ZERO reason to have these disabled on a $60k rig.
If that's their excuse it's a piss poor one. An MT has zero affect on the functionality of lane centering, and a simple line of code in the software could enable/disable stop and go depending on trans, just like Trail Turn Assist is disabled in the MT Broncos. You have the manual transmission option to thank for that. A lot of the Co-pilot360 features specifically require automatic transmissions to function. So many of the options that would likely be available on the Bronco simply aren’t just because they don’t work with manual transmission.
The Mustang has the same problem, and it also does not offer certain features like Stop & Go.
