Oh, most calls were pointless. This email was possibly my favorite though...My experience with their customer service team was nowhere near as helpful. They basically just took my info and said "noted" to my concerns.
Happy to hear it's finally in your hands! Sorry to hear the wind noise is louder than you'd like it to be. Personally I have the tunes cranked 99% of the time so I guess that's my way to cope.07/19 finally delivered!
Initial impression. Looks great. Wind noise on 2dr hardtop is awful.
They reached out to me as well, when I got absolutely no help, I was pissed and let Ford on Twitter know. It's a total waste of time. If @Ford Motor Company is unwilling to give us any actual updates, then why reach out in the first place? I was probably more angry after speaking to their rep than I was before.
Inside man? No. Those avenues failed too. My honest suggestion- blasting multiple tweets daily to Ford Bronco people. Tagging them in a tweet doesn’t seem to have as much effect as does replying to one of theirs. Farley is useless- I doubt he even runs his Twitter. Probably a personal assistant. Try to be polite. I know it’s hard when we get frustrated. My first rounds were rather vicious and were ignored.@Papa Smurf we assume it's safe to say that you had an inside line to someone? Obviously, we all want that....but can't use it since they'd be inundated and you'd never get any other help.
Anything you suggest? I'm produced 7/23. They're now releasing Aug production, skipping mine completely, and I've got a soft top!! I've reached out to the dealer to try rattling cages and they admit that they've never been treated like before by Ford. So they're in their bunkers hoping it all just goes away?
Mid-Nov is next week. Seriously.
That's interesting, I didn't think this was an issue for Broncos. Though I note your production date is a good bit later than many of ours, so maybe that's the difference.A lady on the Bronco line stated that mine was waiting on a chip for the 2.7. IDK if she was being honest or just telling me something. She sounded honest and sincere, noted that my file noted waiting a chip several times.
It's funny up there y'all would want a hard top for winter, where as down here I only want one for summer. Way more nice cool days fall through spring, and when it's 95 with a heat index of infinity the a/c is going to work so much better with that hard top on!Happy to hear it's finally in your hands! Glad you got it before the Canadian winter hits! Are you going to bother oil undercoating this fall or save it for spring or not at all?
Yeah, I thought they had all the chips in hand before they began production? That's interesting, I didn't think this was an issue for Broncos. Though I note your production date is a good bit later than many of ours, so maybe that's the difference.
That's something they've repeated multiple times, as well as the notion that they wouldn't build the Bronco unless they had all the parts for it. So someone is lying...Yeah, I thought they had all the chips in hand before they began production?
Already rust proofed before pickup! Got a good deal on that, paint protection and service plan for four years.Happy to hear it's finally in your hands!
