Also, the 60/40 split will still allow me to carry gear and a backseat passenger if I need that room as space is limited with my selected 2-door.
...
The 60/40 split is only on the 4-dr. The 2-dr is 50/50.

What kind of 5/8 plywood was used? Where did you buy? is it pressure treaded?

Also those 6" supports are they 2x6 pine, non pressure treaded ?

Where did you find the hinges please?

Thx... if you can provide more details that would great!
looking for a shopping list sort of :)

Bravo, great work, best i've seen on forum!
So I used standard 5/8” plywood. Non pressure-treated. I guess there’s always a chance that it could get wet - but it’s not press wood or MDF so that doesn’t worry me. For the supports I just sandwiched and glued two pieces of the 5/8” ply together and allowed it to dry before cutting them.
As for the hinges - I picked up three black 1-1/4” x 24” hinges from Home Depot. Two for the 60% side (panels are 26” wide) and one that I cut in half (12”) for the 40% side (panels are 15” wide).
I have the rubber floor liner for the trunk so I used that to help with the outline of the rear deck. It’s a little too involved to go into details about fitment - but just take into account the carpet thickness. My panels don’t fold perfectly flat without some weight on the, because I was pressed for time and had to get it made while I didn’t have the carpet yet.

I get it. You did a really nice job. I was responding to @choppersean who seemed to imply that his 2-door selection had a 60/40 split.

At 6’1”, this gives me a lot of hope! Nice design!

I don't have the Bronco yet but would like to incorporate a similar front extension into my plans.

Can you give the approximate lengths for each of the three sections? That would help my planning immensely.

Awesome setup, maybe it’s just me, but I like the orange strapping, adds a nice contrast. Wherever mine is delivered I’ll give this a try. You could also make some drawers for the space underneath for clothing or other storage.

Also, you mentioned that you make want to make a removable support to stand up under the void by the hinges....

Just eyeballing it, a carpeted double-thick board might be the right size to be stowed near the tailgate when it is all folded up; leveling off your cargo shelf and hiding those exposed hinges.
