I’ve only had my 23 badlands for about 4 months and put a little over 4K miles on it and haven’t had any major issues. Mines got the 2.7, it was shifting kinda hard occasionally the first 2k miles or so and would make a loud clunk noise when putting it in gear if I didn’t let it warm up a little first. I just assumed since it was new it needed to be broke in, and since I’ve put more miles on it, it doesn’t do either of those things anymore.

23 WT, 30k miles...front pinion seal and pass side CV axle replaced due to torn boot. Otherwise, no issues.

ETA: I did upgrade the rear DS with an Adams 1350 unit because of a torn boot on the factory one.

Had mine for a little over a year, at 40k+ miles, daily driver, wheeling it a fair amount in the summer, lots of snowy mountain roads in the winter. Only issues I've had are the occasional connectivity issues with my phone, which plugging it in resolves. Yeah, I'll complain about all the reminder alerts that you have to hit OK for... But I haven't had any real problems at all. Trust levels are currently pretty high. This thing rips.

5000 miles on my base Bronco and no issues ... other than the driver seat tilt lever cracking off the day I picked up the Bronco from the dealer. My big problem is raccoons invading my engine bay but that's for another thread, lol.

Depends on your definition of “issue”
apparently "I don't like where the emergency flasher button is, I have to reach over two more inches than I think I should, frankly it's in a spot where no driver could possibly find it" is now, in today's world, a "serious issue" that we all must acknowledge and embrace simply because someone said so.

My 2023 2.3l Basesquatch needed a new transmission at 200 miles, which freaked me out. Dealer and Ford were good fixing it with a free extended warranty.

Now 17,000 miles with no issues except for occasional infotainment screen glitches. I’ll keep it until the kids want it in 10 years.

Unless you buy late in a vehicle life cycle when most recalls/issues have been worked through, I think reliability is fairly equivalent for the major brands. Even Toyota as of late has been taking hits. I’d much rather have a Ford turbo engine than a Toyota turbo at this stage in the game.

Every person has their pet peeves. Mine switches between floppy windows in the summer and cold feet in the winter.

The forums do not represent the big picture--they represent, by and large, only those with problems and those who mod (and then have problems). Yes, plenty of no-problem Broncos exist.
Fact.

However, trending common issues had by some here on the board, as well as a not-so-great experience with my '19 F150, have kept me from buying a Bronco. Not to mention, my '23 JL Rubi has been fantastic and I can't justify the (substantial) added cost to move to the equivalent Bronco from it (and I ordered it when I couldn't order the base Bronco I wanted to start with).

ZERO ISSUES with my 2023 Base, 2-door with a manual transmission.

Proof that Bronco’s are built by robots, not humans. My build date was 4/20 and Michigan has legal weed, so you know the workers were hella smoked up. Still absolutely zero problems.

Pic from the day I picked it up in Iowa from Granger. First BASE ever made in Azure Gray. Super rare and valuable. No lowballers, I know what I got.

Loving my '23 badlands that I have owned for 16 months now. Only some of the usual minor complaints, but no problems.

New owner here. Bought a new Big Bend 2.3L, manual trans, soft top a couple weekends ago. Have put almost 500 miles on it (5 on the odo when I test drove it) so far and I love it! Everything works as it should. The engine is smooth, the trans is smooth, and carplay even stays connected to my iphone.

I lurked here on the forum for a month or so before I bought the Bronco and almost decided not to buy one due to the posts on this forum. I know folks are more likely to post when they have issues, but are any of you driving what has been a mostly issues free Bronco? It's hard to tell if the good ones outnumber the problems some times.

Here's a pic from our first weekend of driving around the Texas hill country backroads.

I passed 20K miles while on an off-road trip earlier this month. I've done 8 major road trips and at least two dozen off-road day trips. The only issue we've had so far was the hood latch sensor that would report the hood was not closed and occasionally set off the alarm. That affected a random number of early Broncos, so wouldn't apply to yours. It was replaced under warranty.

I first had a 21 Badlands that only had 1 minor issue - not enough A/C coolant filled at the factory.

My 23 Bronco Raptor has had zero issues (unless you count Apple Car Play funkiness once in a while) - had it since July 23, almost 19k miles so far.
