My bronco is an automatic, but it only did it when I shifted from park to reverse. Before this I had a manual mustang ecoboost, I don’t remember it making any clunking noises like the bronco, but I remember if it was cold it would be harder to change gears until it warmed up. And the manual transmission in the mustang was also made by Getrag. Can you tell me more about that clunk. I have a '24, 2 door, manual, Big Bend. When I start off and haven't let it warm up or idle down, there is definitely some rattling, clunking around when I'm shifting in the lower gears. Mines the 2.3. Not sure if I should be worried about it or not. Doesn't seem to be harming anything, and when I warm it up, it's minimal.
I had a VW GTI prior to this and never had to warm up.
Anyway, just curious.
