The dude is clearly using your cash to fund other ventures, sounds like he’s trying to become the next ADV. Plus, the 355 requires engine out service, quite expensive. 😉 I’m also a Ferrari owner and this dude posts on ferrarichat ALL the time, yet a “ghost” with his customers. Why is that? 🤔
No one on Ferrari chat buys bespoke and demure send it parts????

no one sends it?

He pulled all his posts off Ferrari chat.

The business is destined for failure if they can't get basic customer communications and service right. At this rate, vulnerable customers will be stuck paying the bill for their mismanagement.

You guys just don't understand the Bespoke Business Model (TM). Since it isn't actually against the law, it therefore must be a business best practice to behave how they behave. We should feel privileged to have access to such wonderful functional art. With all the detail work that needs to be performed for each of these items we are actually getting a deal by spending on a set of side steps roughly a quarter of what it would cost for a brand new crate engine delivered in a fraction of the time. I'm sure that they have super tight pricing margins. Poor guy can barely afford a Ferrari... and a Porsche... and new truck... I'm sure he is paying his workers enough to afford the same. We aren't being overcharged or enduring unacceptable wait times because we all clearly overpaid and waitlisted for our Broncos.

I find it interesting that they are no longer Sponsors of this Forum and have removed the ability to order the Stirrups for Broncos while you can still (or will be able to) order them for Jeeps, Grenadiers, and other vehicles. Feels like they're abandoning the Bronco Market and focusing on what they perceive as potentially higher dollar market owners. Oh well.

Feels like they're abandoning the Bronco Market and focusing on sucker's that haven't figured out their business model yet. Oh well.

I got tired of passed deadlines and most recently, no communication, so I filed a complaint with my CC company. Archetype has yet to respond to them about it! Due to that fact, I am pretty sure the refund will stand in my favor. To anyone whose time window hasn't passed, it would be wise to file a complaint to get a refund started ASAP. I don't think they started out this way, but as time passes, they look more and more like a complete CON.

My take as a customer. Ignoring all the forum excitedness about the owner and his vehicle choices.

Their parts are absolute top notch. Their customer service (to some) is not.

You will wait forever, but you will get your parts eventually. It is not a scam business taking money and delivering nothing.

If you don't want to wait for 6 months, don't buy from them.

I continue to be astounded by companies who sell stuff they don't have, and don't have a solid timeline on. I'm a small business owner, manufacturing automotive parts, and have been doing so for over 20 years. In that time I've seen it so many times, and nearly every time it's what ended up driving these places out of business. Such a waste. You spend so much time, effort and money building a brand and designing products, and finding customers, just to squander it all by ruining your reputation on something that costs nothing, HONESTY.

This is the primary reason I've made it policy to not sell what isn't on the shelf. If I can't ship it out within a reasonable time, I just don't sell it. For example, I just got a pile of Bronco Intercooler mounts in from laser cutting, but they haven't been plated yet, so they aren't in inventory on my web site. It's so simple. Yes, I have to front the cost of the inventory, but that's how it's supposed to be. You the customer should not be paying for something I haven't made yet, and I would rather have you pissed off that I won't take your money for something I don't have, than to see threads like this calling me a thief. It's a shame that some businesses seem to think that it's ok to crowdfund their projects without telling the customers that's what they are doing.

Zactly! More importantly there is zero communication coming from them, they’ve gone radio silent. If I knew without a doubt I was going to get parts before the end of the year I would wait it out, at this point I’m just trying to make sure I’m not in the hole for 1500 bucks. I actually offered to pay an additional 1200 bucks back in July if he would send my parts then obviously there was no take on that offer 🤷🏻

I have the Archetype Racing Magnum Stirrups, their center handle (The D+MOSH) and their DNA fender badges. They are all ultra premium quality.

I would buy from them again but you’ve got to recognize they are going to be glacially slow in delivery.

Or you could cancel your order and get the cheap looking stamped steel running boards most people get and have them a day after you order them. I was willing to wait, and for me it was the right choice. It’s not like the parts they sell are function critical and prevent the bronco from being driven.
I agree.
I have bought several things from them.
Their products are custom, very high quality and worth waiting for.
I WILL AND WOULD BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.
We all better realize something....businesses of all types in every sector are hurting from one key thing; lack of personnel. No one seems to want to work anymore. This means businesses are going to be short handed and it will take longer to make and fill orders.
Sorry for those that are waiting, but this is a great Company.
