I would not skip the things you want. I am on Bronco number two because of this. I was shopping in 2023 and things were still a bit goofy with manufacturing and overall availability of cars. I wanted a fully loaded Wildtrak but in 2023 year there were issues with the highest level Lux package. The highest level package added a bunch of stuff I thought I could live without or upgrade in the future.

Turns out those things gradually drove me nuts and the costs of upgrading was not appealing. In 2024 all those extras were now standard in the Lux package. I ended up finding a closeout 2024 with everything I wanted and paid less for it then my 2023. Totally worth it but dang I wish I had just held out. The only reason I didn't wait was because I was getting an insanely good trade in deal on my Honda Passport. Thankfully I got a decent trade in on my first bronco.

Color wise I personally love the Ruby Red. Mine is Eruption Green which is amazing. Find a 2025 and save a pile. I get a ton of compliments on the green. I personally think the lighter colors do not look as good on the Bronco except for Marsh Grey. The whites and silvers just look a little plain on such a stylish vehicle unless it's against the black trim packages. I also think it's retro styling makes me think of the old muscle car colors. My bronco reminds me of my childhood neighbors early 70s Green Mach1. I liked all the different blues that have been available. The velocity gives me that iconic Ford blue vibe which is not a bad thing. I really liked the Azure grey as well which is more of a blue. All personal of course.

The camera is really really cool. Very handy on and off road. It's not a must but it's very useful especially for less confident drivers. I park mine very close to my carbon mountain bikes so I don't mind the extra visual!

PS
Get the best stereo possible because all lower levels are absolute trash. The BO is not amazing but the ford probe I had in the 90s sounded better then my 2023 Bronco no sub system.

Avoid the MIC grey tops!!! Cracking issues all over the place. My 2023 had them. That was another reason I got out of my first bronco. The new one has a glossy black top which looks really sharp with the black trim on the Wildtrak.

I think the Fox HOSS 3 shocks are totally worth it. Super comfy and more plush then any other factory option.

Yeah, I am definitely following what happens with the 2025s that dealers have and even open to low mileage used vehicles. My problem is that I want a manual transmission, so my in-stock pickings are slim so to speak. I made an offer on a 2025 a week or so ago, but the dealer had a 2024 still on the lot among the 4 to 5 Broncos they had, The 2024 told me they were probably a low volume Bronco dealer that didn’t drop their prices until the very last minute. But the 2025 I tried to buy had the MIC top, (I prefer a painted top), so I wasn’t moving from my price as I had built in potential issues into my offer.

Regrading Eruption Green. I like that color as well, especially when it’s paired with a white top. I’d be open to getting a soft top Bronco (Velocity Blue, Eruption Green, or even a lightly used Race Red) cheap enough knowing I would then add $5000 to the purchase for an aftermarket hard top in black or white.

As far as seats, my experience has been the opposite of what some others that have posted. I tend to keep my vehicles for 10 + years. My 2015 F150 with power seats has never had an issue. My two previous Chevy and Dodge trucks had manual seats and both had their lumbar cushion collapse and fail about 5 years in. Having the ability to crank the lumbar cushion fully out is a priority. But if no one has had any issues with their manual seats, I’m fine either way.

Thanks for the continued responses.

Only a few months in with my late 25 big bend in desert sand, (3.7 auto) I opted for the black appearance package and the mid accessory package. Fit my needs and budget. I prefer the manual seats and less bells and whistles, though this one still has quite a few. My only gripe is that I couldn't get steel bumpers without losing the black paint top. Skid/bash plates and pre-wired switches would have been nice too, but there are always compromises and I couldn't justify the upgrade to black diamond or SAS. My use case is as a daily driver plus at least once a week trips through the eastern slope of the Sierra or into the high desert of northern Nevada to fly fish year round. My off roading generally isn't blazing trails or rock crawling, but I am on dirt or sand track with ruts, mud, loose/soft sand, or snow where high clearance and 4wd is a must. I feel like the Big Bend in this configuration gives me a very capable off-road platform while still being polite in town, that fit my budget.
