Get a stripper base. Don't need all that mumbo jumbo crap options that will go wrong if it will go wrong with Ford these days on recalls.

Don't give Jim Farley the satisfaction of his over priced options to milk the dead cows.

There are simply no reasons why Ford is charging for basic safety features like blind spot collision warning when most cheaper SUVs already have them as standard equipments.

Stripper bronco will keep you on your toes to be a better driver than depend on gadgets to become a fat lazy ignorant driver.

If you can back up into parking space u don't need 360 cameras like handicaps do.

You sir have apparently never been in "mud and ruts" mode to climb a very gnarly hill, at the top of which, you only see tree tops and blue sky over the hood and have zero knowledge of exactly what lies over the crest of said hill....until you look down at the 12" display on your dash to see what the forward camera** shows (it is activated automatically in M&R mode IF SO EQUIPPED). If you are aware of these types of situations, then who is the handicap exactly?

**If so equipped. Cameras optional. See your local Ford dealer for details.

I recently made an offer on a Velocity Blue 2025 Badlands a dealer had on the lot and got shot down. Of course it didn’t have everything I would want if ordering one. And looking at prices and the availability of Broncos that check most boxes for me, I might go ahead and order a 2026.

1) I’m debating between Avalanche and Velocity Blue. Anyone grow tired of looking at a blue or white vehicle they’ve had and wish they’d gotten a different color? I’ve had a red truck for over 20 years and would normally lean red, but I don’t like Ford’s Ruby Red at all in person.

2) I test drove Broncos with the manual seats and with the power seats. I preferred the power seats. The available adjustment slots with the manual seats left a gap in the distance from the pedals where I would have rather been at, especially when pressing the clutch pedal for the manual transmission. The power seats, I assume, would have let me scoot right there, rather than feeling a bit too close or a bit too far. I could live with the manual seats, though, and like the idea of saving $2000, so I ask: anyone go with manual seats and wish they had gotten the power seats?

3) I would definitely use the front facing camera and some other Lux package features, but again, I could survive without it all and like the idea of saving money. Did anyone pass on the Lux package to save money but now wish they would have gotten it?
I still think my Velocity Blue is the best color they offer. Very happy 4 years later.

If I was in the market for a new Bronco I most likely would not be able to purchase a new model simply because Ford has decided to choke off trims and reduce the option availability to the buyer. Typical Ford move.
This.

At this point, the only way I'll ever be a (2-door) buyer is if they open up the full ala carte options list on the base like it was to begin with, including the painted roofs.

Actually to begin with, they limited the color options on the Base

Painted roofs? Promised in 2020 preproduction sales literature, but no painted roofs for first few years, in any model. The 2021 Base was pretty Basic.

Right, but you still had a pretty fair list of options, unlike now.

I do know that the Outer Banks had alot more options in 2021 than now, I ordered High Package (now either Mid or Lux), the 4.27 axles with rear locker, the Advanced Auto Transfer Case (no longer an option, except with Sasquatch). The MIC-2 top is doing fine. I am glad they brought the Base Back to production. And the new painted top options are nice . . . And some of them are actual fiberglass construction along with the MIC.

1) No, it's just paint. I keep it clean and protected, that's what matters to me.

2) NEVER. I absolutely DESPISE power seats in anything and everything. Manual has never failed me and is less electro-garbage to fail.

3) Nope. Again, more trash to fail at a high price tag. I am able to drive just fine without extra sensors that would just annoy me.

Everyone on this forum seems to be the victim of trimflation propaganda

RTR Sliders 2 years and they are covered in rust. My RTR spare tire carrier will eventually need attention as well but isn’t as bad. The design is great, coating is or was in 2022-23 not great. The sliders tend to drain for a while after the car wash so I can only imagine what the inside of those tubes looks like.

My latest recall is for the seat height adjustment bolt coming loose or falling out completely. So you may need to revise the "never failed" portion of your statement, if you are lucky like me! :)

I stopped paying attention to Ford's recall notices when they prioritized seat belt access for lazy people vs their death-trap electric steering failing CAL that was buried.

To date, zero issues with any manual seat adjustment in any vehicle I have owned. I have had numerous issues with electric power seats.

Blue vs White? Blue.

Walking the dog today, I passed a parking lot that had 12 vehicles. 7 were white, 3 were some sort of gray. Only two had color.

White Broncos look good. Blue looks better.

And everyone knows Red is faster.

Blue vs White? Blue.
I will say I have an '02 Super Duty in Ox White that I have showed VERY little love to sitting outside...and it's still 20 foot pretty. :) Get closer and you can see fauna growing in some of the cracks and crevices, but the paint ain't half bad.
