I recently made an offer on a Velocity Blue 2025 Badlands a dealer had on the lot and got shot down. Of course it didn’t have everything I would want if ordering one. And looking at prices and the availability of Broncos that check most boxes for me, I might go ahead and order a 2026.

1) I’m debating between Avalanche and Velocity Blue. Anyone grow tired of looking at a blue or white vehicle they’ve had and wish they’d gotten a different color? I’ve had a red truck for over 20 years and would normally lean red, but I don’t like Ford’s Ruby Red at all in person.
I have had 4 blue vehicles in my life. I have two currently (VB Bronco, Deep Impact Blue Mustang). I will be buying more blue vehicles in the future. So no, you won't get tired of blue ... if you are me. ;)

White is boring AF though, IMO. I'm bored looking at it before I even look at it. It's the color fleets use only because it is easier to maintain.

I personally hate the modern trend of 90% of cars being some shade of grey or silver. I'd take a car of pretty much any color over that drabness. Even certain greens -- and I generally hate green, hah.

YMMV

2) I test drove Broncos with the manual seats and with the power seats. I preferred the power seats. The available adjustment slots with the manual seats left a gap in the distance from the pedals where I would have rather been at, especially when pressing the clutch pedal for the manual transmission. The power seats, I assume, would have let me scoot right there, rather than feeling a bit too close or a bit too far. I could live with the manual seats, though, and like the idea of saving $2000, so I ask: anyone go with manual seats and wish they had gotten the power seats?
I have a LUX package with MGV/manual sets. Why? Because I don't want mold and rust in my open top vehicle, and I want to be able to easily clean it (which includes hosing out the interior) without risking damaging electric seats. I'm actually mad that Ford decided to put carpet on the back of the rear seats (2DR) even with the MGV/vinyl interior, hah.

Every other vehicle I have purchased in the last 30 years has had at least a power driver seat. I don't miss it at all, TBH, with the notable exception of me and my partner switching driving. I am tall, she is short. We do miss the auto/stored settings then, but it's really not worth risking mold, rust, and damaged electrics seats. If you are the only driver, it's an easy pass. Set it and forget it!

3) I would definitely use the front facing camera and some other Lux package features, but again, I could survive without it all and like the idea of saving money. Did anyone pass on the Lux package to save money but now wish they would have gotten it?
I love some of the LUX features, but some features have actually been a negative. It's made getting a winch harder (because most winch mounts interfere with all the sensors), the lane keeping is more annoying than useful (to me), the charging pad is next to worthless. I have fallen in love with the adaptive cruise control and giant screen though, and I would have retroactively been regretful of not having that (it does make me regret not getting ACC in my last vehicle).

I don’t value the additional gadgetry. Don’t trust the reliability and cost to fix them later. Have a Badlands with no options except mod bumper and 6 switches which I think were optional in 22. Don't recall. I have enough glitches the way it is. Don’t want more. Still love the Bronco and at the core. It’s reliable.

The manual (mid package) seats in my 25 HE have the lumbar adjustment dial for the driver, along with height and the usual adjustments. No thigh adjustment but it’s plenty comfortable for me on long trips. A front camera and ACC would be nice. I don’t miss the rest of lux.

My wife loves the REB color and I still get compliments (just this morning from an older guy with a Tacoma) but it wouldn’t be my choice if I were buying again. If I could magically switch to AGM, I would. So yeah, another blue. I bought off the lot, though, and it was either REB or Ruby.

Also, the white wheels are more of a pan in the ass to keep clean than I anticipated, more so than the white bodies on trucks I’ve had. It’s my gravel road leaving dark dust on them from old asphalt shavings.

I have a 2021 Base and am very happy with the way it is set up. I also picked it to save money, and it does everything I need.

I chose Velocity Blue over what was the red option in '21 (Rapid Red) and it was the right decision. I love the way the blue looks clean, dirty, dusty and everything in between. I don't see many of them and it always grabs my eye when I do. That color blue is just perfect on the Bronco in my opinion.

I got the manual seats, but I do not think power seats were an option on the '21 Badlands. I have literally never thought to myself "I wish I would have gotten power seats". If anything, in the circumstances where I do actually need to adjust a seat, I appreciate how quickly the manual seats adjust.

I originally spec'd out the Lux package on my build but downgraded to the High package once I heard the B&O sound system in the Lux. I don't like driving aids, so the only reason I would have gotten the Lux was for the premium audio. Once I heard the "premium" audio and how weak it was, I decided to go with the High package and it was definitely the right decision. Installed a full custom audio system and didn't have to worry about the radar when I installed a winch bumper.

My Bronco is Desert Sand but my Silverado is Glacier Blue basically Chevys Velocity Blue. it is bright but I love it and get compliments all the time. But I am partial to Blue vehicles.
I have the manual seats and since I never move my seat, I never even thought about the power seats. plus I love my MGV and I can't get that in power seats.
as far as front camera, I just added a wolfbox so now I have a dash camera and a front camera, and that was way less than the lux package.

I put some ceramic spray coating on my white wheels and it makes them very easy to clean.

I really wanted Cactus Grey, which has more of a green tint to it, and I love it. Does a good job of hiding the dirt, of which I suspect the ceramic coated PPF helps too. Looking at the bumpers and running boards is the only tell-tale signs that it had been driven in the rain. If I had gone with a '25, I would've gotten Desert Sand.

Contrast that with my other two cars and my fiancés car that is also black where they only stay clean for 10 minutes. I will never own another black car.

If you think you’ll like those options and don’t get them, my guess is you won’t be as happy by settling.
This 100%. I got more than I wanted with mine, and turned out to appreciate most of those features. If I was missing something I really wanted though, that would stick in my mind every time I look at it. It's /almost/ what I wanted is never a good feeling.

I never get tired of white vehicles because the black fenders/bumpers/door handles and such look great against the white.

The manual seats are something you should think hard about, especially since it seems you prefer the flexibility in the infinite adjustments on a power seat. Yeah most here will say the manual seats are fantastic, and they are comfortable but the manual adjustment on the seat back is ALWAYS right in between where it would be perfect for me. It is pretty amazing what just a tap on a button for the seat back can do for comfort. Another member here swapped out a power seat for his manual seat and it was a pretty easy install. I am 100% going that route and looking for a seat right now.

Not sure the cost between a trim with power vs manual seats so maybe far cheaper to do it after the fact if you find manual horrid?

360 camera is worth it. Now that I’ve used, it I wouldn’t buy one without.I Don’t know of any after market camera system that shows you your wheel tracking (front) You can spot/guide yourself pretty decently when wheel placement is critical or use it in the mall parking lot

Have lighting which is close enough to velocity. Love it and not sick of it after a few years.

I travel a decent distance a lot and I love my adaptive cruise control. However, it's like my parents and ATM machines. They never use/used them so didn't miss them...but once you use them, you don't go back - though oddly enough, I use ATMs like once a year at this point, ha.

I would get the Badlands Sasquatch with the high package and hardtop. I settled for the soft top and I regret it most days. I thought I would drive a lot more with the top down than I really do. It is too hot in the middle of summer in Texas. The noise level from the hardtop is way better as well. Also, get rid of the Goodyears as soon as you can, they are stupid levels of loud.
