Do the front hubs lock in like on the F150's using vacuum or is it a different set up?

Bronco raptors use IWEs like F150’s. Regular Broncos do not. They just have normal hub/bearings.

Integrated wheel ends. Those are what uses vacuum to lock/unlock the hubs to the halfshafts on F150 and Bronco Raptor.
Normal Bronco hubs do not unlock. The halfshafts are splined to the hubs at all times.

To add onto what @Ducati1098 said...

Some Broncos have a FAD—front-axle disconnect. All Broncos with open differentials have a FAD, and I think the Broncos with an electronic rear locker and the part-time transfer case may also have a FAD... but not 100% sure about that.

If you have one of those FAD-equipped Bronco and try spinning the front wheels while the vehicle is off the ground, it may seem like the hubs are not locked. But that's not the case, it's just the FAD doing it's thing.

All except one. 4.27 doesn’t have a FAD
4.46 can also come with or without it. I have no idea what determines if it gets it or not though.

front axle disconnect
Thanks.
Seems like they all would have that in the quest for better fuel economy. But I hope my Bronco doesn’t have it. just one more thing to quit working at the worst possible time. I put warn manual locking hubs on my Excursion years ago because the auto locking hubs became unreliable.

Maybe the 4WDA option?
