That's the beauty of removable doors - when one gets messed up, you just pull it off and toss it aside. You gotta love the way these guys think!

It's a driver's side door - imagine the freedom you'll have without that to block your view.

Third day of owning mine, kid puts a huge 20” gouge in the plastic panel of the door.

After I spent around 40 hours to replace my front door slabs a few years back (several people told me not to replace the slabs as is is very difficult to line everything up, and they were correct), my then 2yo daughter "fixed" the door with a screwdriver, scratching the back all up!

That's the beauty of removable doors - when one gets messed up, you just pull it off and toss it aside. You gotta love the way these guys think!

Might be cheaper and easier to find a replacement door from a same color wrecked one. I doubt it, but I would look into that because you never know

Have you checked on the option of swapping the child for new door trim?

Likely have to purchase new door panel as (IIRC) that pad/trim piece is attached with the melted plastic tabs…(so Ford probably not selling it as a separate piece)…

Here's a snip from Levittown Ford's part website showing the full interior door assembly..I can't locate anything for the top pad, but at least it's a starting point for you and your local dealer.
