Has anyone else had a problem where your drivers side speakers both front and back will stop working until you shut the car off and turn it back on? They automatically start playing as soon as you start the car again. If anyone has had this issue what did you do to fix it.

I had that happen a few months ago. I think I shut the bronco off and started it again, hasn't happened since. But I might have also disconnected and reconnected my phone from wireless carplay. I can't remember for sure.

I might have restarted my phone, I can't recall for sure but I feel like whatever fixed it made me think it was more related to the phone than the Bronco.

I was connected to CarPlay when it happened so it might have something to do with CarPlay but the first time I was listening to the radio when it happened so I’m not sure if it for sure the CarPlay.

It has happened to me a few times when listening to Spotify via carplay and it’s interrupted with Siri saying something like reading a text message. Not often, but it’s happened to me. Pausing and resuming music doesn’t help. My consistent “fix” is to switch to another audio source like FM, then back to carplay and Spotify works on all speakers again 🤷

edit: I don’t think it’s just Spotify either. Pretty sure it’s happened to me with Audible as well. I’m assuming it’s a carplay issue

That's right! Now I remember, I switched to the radio to see if it was a carplay issue (was listening to Pandora when it happened) and the radio was fine, so I switched back to carplay Pandora and it was still fine, so I thought it was a carplay issue.

this has happened to me a few times
my head unit hates me

car play connection fails or the drivers side looses audio on average once a week, i have to reboot the head unit to fix

next oil change going to have the dealer look at it and start to get the issues on record

would love to know if there is a way to check codes/logs

I had the same exact issue last week and it was resolved the same way. Switch to radio and back to car play and it was fine.
