Epic fail on the reservations

This is laughable, I've put in reservations for other vehicles with fewer issues. I can't even login and its been almost 2 hours. The reveal was anticlimactic. If we can't even give them money for the capital, i don't even want to think about the roll out. fingers crossed

I did get that far once after I tried a different browser and entered a different dealer so I could get past the "the dealer doesn't accept online order..." part. But it just hangs there. Sucks that in 2020 and having all this time to prepare the failed at the online order process.

In today's cloud compute landscape, these kinds of outages are super easy to avoid.

I have lost all hope that Ford will be able to save themselves - the future has more to do with software than anything else, and Ford's performance today indicates a bleak future. FWIW, I find it hard to believe this kind of failure would have happened under Mulally's watch.

I had tried for 90 mins to get a reservation...in all various ways...different browsers, constantly clicking the payment button once I finally made it to that point...

The only thing that seemed to work and was probably a fluke was closing my MS Edge browser and going through the entire process start to finish...payment screen finally loaded and processed. In for a First Edition...but I would not at all be surprised if they were oversold etc...there is a byline that talks about a reservation doesn't guarantee anything...

Without how the website functioned...I'm sure I'll get the shaft on this somehow...

Mildly disappointed the 2.7 can't be ordered with the 7 speed but I honestly suspected that to begin with. The website though is the biggest disappointment. In this day and age for a big reveal like this and the amount of prep time they had it's not excusable. The only reason the website should be this broke is it's suffering a DDOS attack by Jeep fans ....

using a private browsing option that clears stored cookies has gotten me the furthest (payment page). Then I click make payment and I just get a blank page, been there 10+ times now. Just give me the reservation number!!
