Exterior Keypads Programming Question

Hello new Bronco owner here and did not get the card that shows the factory key code for the keyless entry. Do I have to go to a dealer to get this programmed? I cant seem to figure this out and would appreciate any of your insight.

Salesman gave it to use with the keys. Did you check the glovebox? I’d call your salesman if not there.

I think you can check the number in your screen, haven’t played woth it yet so i’m not 100%sure

Someone on here may know a better answer, but in the meantime I would contact your local dealership and ask.

Mine was on an instruction sheet in the glove box.

I would take a pic, but I don't feel like shoveling the snow right now.

The first thing I plan to do when my Bronco shows up (hopefully in a couple of weeks) is program a new code to match the one I use on my Escape. I like to use a different code than the default so that if someone ever "steals" it I can easily change it. Plus it's nice if both cars have the same one.

Make that four weeks. I didn't find the keypad programming information in the Bronco owner's manual, but I looked it up for my Escape. Programming the Bronco keypad works exactly the same as for the Escape, which also matches the link above for how to program a new code.

I managed to successfully program in a new code that matches the other car, so I'm all set with that.
