What’s a fair price for a modular bumper without the skid plate?

Found one for 550, has everything except the 8 bolts where the bull bar would mount. Should I pick it up or pass on it?

What’s the new, MSRP price from Ford? That’d be my gauge.
As far as I know, Ford still doesn't sell the entire bumper package, you have to piece it together.

And I'm considering a mod takeoff or the DV8 OE.

Think that's a little high, without the skid plate, but not bad. I wouldn't use Ford pricing as a gauge, pretty sure I can pick a set of Ford rims (most trims), for a fraction of Ford pricing, same for the soft top.

I paid $750 for the Modular bumper with skid plate. I don,t think $550 is too bad but just my opinion.

Despite trying to stay abreast of everything, I somehow missed that Ford made the modular bumper optional rather than standard on the Badlands for 2022. So I’m curious as to what that’s gonna cost to remedy since I really need it. It would have been about a $540 upcharge but I haven’t seen what full replacement cost would be.

I've seen one as low as $400. Most fall around the $500 range.

I have had mine up for $550 foe two eels with no takers. Thought it would go first day.

I sold mine for $550 within a week, locally, and there weren’t many Broncos in town at that point. That was 5 months ago though.

A lot of good aftermarket options coming out now for around or less than $1000. Less demand for modular bumper takeoffs now.

I've seen one on FB Marketplace in my area for $350. I want a MOD bumper but I'm looking for one without the parking sensor holes.

If I can't find one for $450 with the skidplate, I'll go after-market. Not worth it to look identical to half the Broncos on the road.

It’s $575 add-on now, which means ~$1000 at the parts counter (when available). So, I’d say $400-500 is a good deal if it’s new. Not sure how much bolts cost. I personally love the look and can’t stand most of the aftermarket options. Front skids I’ve been seeing for $100 used. I have one sitting around - but, figured I’d hang onto it.

I agree. The factory Ford modular bumper looks much better to me then any of the aftermarket solutions.

Does anyone if the skids are the same for the modular and capable bumpers?
