Fog or spot lights

Need some advice from you experts.
Should i install fog lights or spot lights on the front bumper of my Wltk?
I occasionally drive on some bad surface roads and some trails with opposite traffic as well, no fog here where i live.
Which would be better to light those bumps and holes on the road/trail?
Any brand you would recommend?

Your mod bumper has room for a fog and a spot (or combo) light

I have both on my bumper.

I have driving and two fogs. Fogs are basically floods. I’d say driving or combo as they are kinda both.

Diode Dynamics in mine. 3" spots white, 2" sae fogs white, 2" sae fogs yellow.

IMHO no need for front fog lights.
When the fog is really dense I am missing the rear fog light way more than the front ones.

My Bronco is recovering from hitting a deer, so I need to watch more closely now. I also have 4 ditch lights that are not SAE, so I have the SAE white fogs that give me wide view when I have to turn off the ditch and spot lights. I use the SAE yellow fogs to help in snow/rain/fog.

I do plan on adding some rears, especially for backing up.

Fogs do an excellent job of lighting up the sides too.

If doing SAE go with the DD driving and white fogs if you don't care about SAE I'd say a combo and a fog or flood.

I did DD3 pro driving, dd2 pro white fog, dd2 pro amber fog in ours

Go with one of our triple fog kits. You can then have fog AND spot lights so you get light for every occasion.

I installed the Oracle triple fog lights on my Badlands with the mod bumper. I do have quite a bit of fog where I live. The lights are great for that. We alos have some of the worst roads anywhere so I use the lights to illuminate the road immediately in front of the Bronco. Oraacle said that to be DOT compliant you should only run one of the three lights on each side. This would require cutting the factory wiring and then use two switches in order to have all three lights on each side lit. I did not do that and occassionally I will get the High Beam flash from oncoming cars.
