Ford rear floormats flying out with doors off

I have the Bronco molded floor mats. They do the trick. Look nice, easy to clean, but I hate the fact that the rear ones don't "click in" to secure them. After two days of without doors on and constantly having to look over my shoulder, I've taken the rear floor mats out because I can't keep checking to see if they flew out with every gust of wind. Other than buying a different set of mats, does anyone have a solution they have implemented to secure the rear floormats?

They won’t. Don’t fret needlessly.

Hook and loop/velcro on the underside of the floor mats should help.

They did not, but they were getting pretty high. I pulled over and threw them in back when the left (bigger one that goes over the hump) one also started lifting with the wind.

Trade that 4 door grocery getter and get one of the real 2 door Broncos and you will not have that issue.

I have the rubber molded Ford mats and top off, doors off since delivery and haven’t had an issue In my 4 door. I do have a Gearshade Bimini screen shade up top.

There were some documented cases of the carpet mats in the rear of the 4 doors, taking flight and checking out. With the doors and top off.

Mine fell out on the way to work. Found it the next day. I don’t keep them in the vehicle anymore.
