Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one. The Ford mats in my wife’s Bronco sport and my ST are Ford and I find them very comparable to weather tech mats. I’m not sure how without trying them out you are calling them cheap. I bet they would last just as long as WT. also the weather tech mats have no give to them and slide around some even when connected. I think we are just looking to find things to complain about.

Hmmm…. The mats in the Bronco Sport are good. And the rubber Ford mats in my Expedition are excellent as Well. My only complaint about them is I wish the perimeter lip was a bit taller, more like the WeatherTech, but I actually like the heavy rubber better than WT’s harder rubber material. I’ve owned WeatherTechs in most of my cars/trucks for the past several years and I always have trouble with them eventually curling up around the edges and/or shrinking a bit.

well, go ahead and order them if you like, but don't destroy the box they come in ..... as soon as you open and feel the material you will want to use that same box to return them

I also have to say again: the ones I got are the ones that go on top of carpet so maybe the other style is more rigid, I dunno!
What other style ??

Style was the wrong word .... other application is probably better

In the catalog they almost look the same, its just that one says for use on carpet .... maybe the other is more rigid and the back IS ONE PIECE!

My 2019 Ranger floors mats have the same style with the flap in the back seats. I am not sure how those compare, but my kids couldn’t destroy them. They were easy to clean and take out. I have them on my build so we shall see.

IMO all WT mats feel like plastic and are super slick with the slightest amount of moisture. Husky liners have the good rubber feel that’ll pull your shoes off. If you’re hesitant to try them, give it a shot and I promise you won’t regret it

InkedBronco Floor mats_LI.jpg

My Bronco Brethren,

I just received these floor mats I ordered to be used on carpet on my OBX.

1. Its not a pkg of 3 pieces. Its actually 4 pcs with a layover flap for the back area (circled in red). It doesn't even snap in or anything it just lays on top of the other part's lip

2. From the pics in the catalog I thought it was hard molded and tough, but this is stuff is very thin and feels very cheap. If you think you will get something like the quality of weather Tech or even a Costco floor mat, think again.

Its just feels soooooo CHEAP. Stay away and wait for some name brands for the same price or even cheaper.

I hope this thread will become a place for warning others about things to stay away from.

Rock On
Maybe take a video and show us what you’re talking about so we can make a decision for ourselves?

No opinion on the Ford mats, but I can say I really dislike Weathertech mats. We all got them for our Ram work trucks. I took them out. They slid around way too much.

I used to get Weathertech but their new ones are not like their older versions. I swapped over to Husky and am pleased. They are much thicker.
