This install was ridiculously easy. Everything bolts right back in the same place. One wire to ground one wire to an aux. switch. Not pictured because I forgot is the correct badlands skid to protect it. I could have had my son drive a bit farther to get the wheel higher but you get the point Works as intended.

Did you get the OEM switch with the switch plate? I really want to add one of these to my Wildtrak. Thanks

No that would be a huge undertaking as there is no wiring for the unit. You would have to run wires to the bcm in all the correct spots and have it programmed more than likely. I just used an aux switch. I too would like the dash switch but it’s not practical to retro fit.

are you able to run with the sway bar disconnected above 20 mph?
is the auto reconnect disabled?

This is the reason I'm following the thread...I'm gonna try just adding power to the correct terminal (I have the OEM swaybar disconnect on an FE) and see if I can override the 20mph limit. probably will use a relay.

I'd ask @Figmo as he posted that he did this to his WT back in May. For anyone adding this that doesn't have a Badlands/FE, it should operate without Ford's nannies. Because the Badlands/FE have the swaybar disconnect built into the vehicle's internal build profile, it will likely trigger warnings if the pressure sensors aren't connected.

Edit: Here is Figmo's Thread back in May.

Yes because it is on an aux switch the computer doesn’t even know it’s there. On a BL,FE or Heritage Limited the computer is looking at the sensors. You will set off all kinds of warning I have to believe if your bronco came with the disco.

Nice thing is you can use it at any speed now. ;)

hmmm, now i'm wondering if i can rewire the SBD activation to an up fitter switch and leave the sensor wires as-is on my badlands...

That will be the test that someone else mentioned in @Figmo linked thread. No one has undertaken the endeavor. But the supposition is that the as-built profile of a Badlands/FE/HEL will be looking for the disconnected sensors and will throw codes. Other trims that add the swaybar disconnect have no internal system check. It functions with a simple power to the solenoids.

which sensors would throw a flag as being disconnected if only the power leads were transferred over to the up-fitter switch and the others left as-is?
