Any other options out there besides the ACfabs for front sway bar disconnects? If you have the ACs or any others, what are your thoughts? Just bought a new Wildtrak 2 door and obviously didn’t do my homework, just realized only the Badlands and FE have the auto factory disconnects.

A couple of wrenches and some zip ties is all that’s needed.

The AC Fabs are fine. Oscar is great and super personable. Mine are making all sorts of noise all of a sudden - I thought it was change of weather. I usually keep them greased up a bit, but it’s not helping. I’m hitting some trails in the morning and plan to double check the o-rings are still intact. But, otherwise - they do what they’re supposed to and are well made. Obviously wish they were cheaper - but, again - I’m happy to support his small brand.

Oscar was also super helpful when I was picking his brain about trails in/near Big Bear while we were visiting over the summer. A true community focused guy.

Ordered the AC fabs from Oscar. Hopefully some more (cheaper) options soon.

Just one nut per side. My small impact wrench makes quick work of it.

Hi I have the Ac Fab on my two door and I have to either just leave them undone or go back to stock the noise is really bad after about 8 months. I drove most of the end of summer and had forgot to hook them back up, didnt really notice the sway, but when I went to 37s thats when i notice that they were not attached.
Question if using a impact wrench how do you hold the middle of the bolt with a allen wrench to keep it from spinning.

See you in Moab. Thanks

I used a pair of channel locks to hold it while using my impact to tighten down. Pain in the butt but it worked.

Rubber O-ring? Lubed up? Noisy otherwise.

If it is a 2023 then you also got better suspension than the badlands.

Thanks, I will give a look and check it out.
There should be a rubber o-ring on the pin between the heim and the lower mount (I found 7/16” fit snug and are nice to have on hand). Then I just keep it lubed with Fluid Film (I’m sure there are better solutions depending on your weather conditions).
