not until after my "moar door"Yeah, well how about we put the station wagons on hold and crank out some two doors.
Even if the reasoning/assumption/speculation of Ford is to hide the blemish, it is officially named and used as "sound dampening" nothing more.Right but the fabric was included free, to hide the interior hardtop surface, because the surface was deemed not of a high enough quality finish. In that case, I'm hoping the new hardtop version will take are of that issue (along with the others). Hence no longer a need for the fabric to cover the surface.
Your Good News GIF will make a fine addition to my collection
I was originally hoping for late October delivery at the earliest when they first announced the replacements. Looks like it could be sooner for my Dirt Mountainer.
Clown#1 LolAgreed it cost Ford less not to collect the $500 for headliner, and was easier to glue on than not glue on. Also the hardtop interior looked so nice, Ford wanted to cover it, so as not to outshine the rest of the vehicle. Facts.
do you know how many were being made per shift? We didn't think they could do it, but they did. The scale of this operation will make for fun reading in the years ahead... I doubt there have been many other situations with tooling components being express airlifted to meet an impossible deadline.
Tooling was up and running Friday and from what I can tell they cranked all weekend. So far, no issues have been discovered. I don't believe they've officially been released for delivery but that should happen later this week.
I fail to see where it states 2 doors are delayed or “back of the line” can you cite a reference on this?2 door folks still at the back of the line, early reservation or not.
Cause it’s free? Cause free sh!t is always better then paying for sh!t, it’s still sh!t, but at least it’s free. It’s shit why would you want it?.
I read somewhere 800+ per daydo you know how many were being made per shift?
