I couldn’t find this app. At this point I think they hadn’t started development until summer of last year. I don’t understand why they showed it off extensively back in March when they knew it was nowhere near ready.

Hopefully this means it’ll be a well put together app with a lot of information and trail data, great tracking features, all that jazz. Would be really cool if they do it like some of the skiing apps they have out there that tracks a bunch of different data points, while also integrating with the front camera if your Bronco has it. One can hope it’ll be that in depth lol

Given that I think the OnX community is probably better off than the a Ford App and them having AA/Carplay it's probably our best option. I don't know anything about the Garmin set up though.

Overall, this feels like something that was "marketed" but won't be done, or if it is, it will probably be done by the same interns that built the build and price tool webpage...

Ford poached the guy from Garmin that is leading the development so you're not that far off. Still... this seems to be vaporware... screenshots and a video are all we have to go on.

@Ford Motor Company where is the Ford Pass Performance App??? Seems like this is ONE of the things that shouldn't have been slowed by commodity/chip shortages.

Does onx operate with no cell service?

From what I understand you can do local saving of the maps. You won't reception for gps to work, just the data of a map so as long as the map is saved prior it shouldn't be an issue.

I'm just a random dude though, I'd double check on Onx before spending the money.

We ran into one of the team members that is mapping all of the trails today at the Christmas in July event at St. Augustine. He is mapping the east coast trails and it currently looks like the target is sometime after September. I was encouraged to see they were actively working on the app content.
