Well, it finally happened to me, found leak on inside rear passenger area roll bar and plastic pillar. It was so cold that I only took pics of the outside area of the roof, when I got done with those pics I ran back inside to warm up. But mine is a 2022 wildtrak fully loaded and when I got the bronco the roof was two different colors to begin with. I called a dealer across the way, cause my main dealer didn't have a body shop to fix my front window recall, as well.

I had just noticed the same odd seal gaps on my roof panels before seeing your original post. My Bronco had a blend date of April 8th 2022 if that helps to narrow down production methods. The gaps and foam barriers may be intentional for air venting. I have no leaks that I'm aware of and have gone through an automated brush carwash (once). I haven't taken any of my roof panels off yet. Have you taken any of yours off? It'd be good to see the seal from the other side to spot any possible issue.

I don't know if I'd get too hung up on what everyone thinks are imperfections. I'm probably going to curse myself, but I've had my Broncos for about a month, 2k miles And it's been raining almost the entire time. Now I don't park it overnight outside, but it has spent plenty of time in the rain both driving, and sitting in a parking lot while I was in a store...bone dry.

And yet look as some of my "imperfections"..

Those seals are “normal” as far as they all look like that. It’s the major source of wind noise for those of us with loud AF tops.

Hmm I have a soft top with a build date if 1/3/2022 and the rubber gasket looks completely different than yours. It definitely does not have a cut into the gasket like that. Not sure why there would be a difference in the gasket between mic top and soft top since it was supposed to be interchangeable so my guess is at some point due to vendor shortages they changed the gasket. Still doesn’t explain the cut and gaps though.

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Bronco leaking concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

My 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands leaks from the air-bag compartment on the a-pillar. I took it in once and they tighten the bolts above the pillar. Didn't work. Still leaking.

VIN #1FMEE5DP9PLA86165

Got it from Frontier Ford
