Haven't seen many aftermarket options like this for the stock plastic bumper.

Because you have to drill into the stock bumper. It's not designed for all the cool bolt-on accessories... cause it's plastic

So you'd have to drill holes.

Have you gotten a chance to look for something on the capable bumper yet? I know it’s all new but my orders went in yesterday with FRONT PLATE DELETE

If you don't do a FRONT PLATE DELETE, where does the front plate go (I assume it is hideous) and if you remove it by yourself after delivery, are there undesirable holes left somewhere on the front of the vehicle?

I just put in my order but was told I can make changes up until it enters production, so appreciate learning from the community!

Just received mine! Put my plate on the bracket but looks like I don’t have the right size bit to take the “Bronco” bolts off. Anyone know what I need?

TP30 (that's Torx Plus, which is different then a Torx).

You CAN do it with a Torx, but try not to force it. Ford decided to use a Torx Plus bit.

I just used my HF T40 which was a little loose but it worked. I'm very happy with the bracket by the way even without the discount.

So for those curious... YES this WILL work with the plastic bumper. You'll just need to drill 2 holes into your plastic bumper to secure the license plate bracket (screws not provided for that).

I think the same may apply to the capable bumper also.
It looks like you could make it work, but would have to drill holes to do so.
