Just curious if anyone has tinted the front two windows? The Bronco has that slight roll down when you open the door, has anyone had any issues? That is the first thing we are getting done, then on to the garage full of stuff I have to do.
No issues. Windows and brow. And yes, was the very first thing I had done. Day after delivery. Two days after that, dealer noticed windows had already been tinted when I took it in to have a fix done on the radio.

Can you help me verify what the factory tint % is on the hardtop windows? Thank you.

Does y’all’s tint cover the entire window?

The people that did mine left a small gap at the top, bottom & side edges. If I recall correctly my previous vehicles had the whole glass covered with no lines or gaps. Thinking maybe I should have them re-do it….

My frameless Caddy windows had about 1/8th" along the top, back and front angled edge without tint. So, just the area where the window would rub/seal to the weatherstrip. The bottom edge was tucked in below the lower seal. My Bronco goes in on Tuesday to get the front doors done. I'm taking it to the same place who did my Caddy and expect they will do these frameless windows the same way.

Mine have maybe 1/8" or less clear area around the outside but the bottom is tucked under the seal.

I tinted professionally for 20+ years (retired from it now) but on the frameless door glass what most installers will do is lock the latch or trip it while the door is open thereby allowing the glass to be in the full up position (as if it were closed) . This will facilitate in getting the bottom edge of the film under the lower gasket to reduce any chance of the film peeling up while opening/closing the door. Once complete ,then you pull on the door handle to open or release the door latch to lower the glass back, a very important step before closing the door 😁.

No issues at all with tinting all windows. Winco infrared reduction installed and zero issues.

When and if ever get mine my dealer is going to do the front windows and the whole windshield. They do that on a lot of the vehicles they sell, if you want it done.

Here is a pic of our 2021’s. The 2 door has the front windows tinted. The 4 door not yet but planning on it. Just installed the steps for the wife today. I have had zero issues with the window tint.
