Recently, I found that when using Google Maps navigation in carplay, I can't use my fingers to navigate to the East China map, but I can use Apple Maps. This is very strange. Does anyone have the same problem?

Yup, I can’t move the map with my fingers anymore on google or waze, only works on Apple Maps.

So I finally received the infamous 3.5.3 update with full screen Apple CarPlay. However the full screen only works for my iPhone 14 Pro Max and not for my Android box CarPlay which I use for watching videos and feeding rear screen for kids to watch TV. Is there a way to activate the full screen on that device too? Android 13 iHeyLinKit

do you mind shairing what rear screen TV's you have for your kids? getting a Brono in a couple weeks and the car we are giving up has built in TV's. i need something for this one.

So I had to pair my android phone 1st, then in android auto select full screen, then switch back to car play and the then the tbox, then when it loads it gives a reboot needed screen and reloads itself, then it's full screen...

My theory is that ford has a switch built in now that some newer devices have access to, once in full-screen, it stays in full-screen for the drive.

this is how I did it, now after software update , it wont go to full screen, like it tries but it goes back to half screen... HELP.. I want my full screen back ..

I agree, I have the same issue now on my FE, however the box still is full screen in our WT...confusing.

I have an Iphone (work)as well, let me try connecting the iphone first, then the Carlink.

good call! the good thing is that now I can use the same Android cable for both phones (android and apple)!!! thanks Apple! Type C lol

Mine Carlink is now working!!!!!!

I contact Carlink support team
And they provided me a link with a the firmware update and also the process to do so.

No it will go to full mode with me switch from Android Auto full screen to the carlink. Is working better.

Their customer services responded I. Less than 24hrs.

The upgrade takes like 10 to 15 minutes. Make sure the bronco engine is ON. Don't let the car turn of to save battery.
