Is this common on Bronco, or do I need to get my headlights aimed?
Almost every time I drive at night I get high beam flashed by an on-coming driver. Seemingly trying to tell me my high-beams are on. They never are. I do have my high-beams on auto, but this happens even when driving down busy streets, when the high beams never come on.
2023 Outer Banks, no additional lift.

If you have the led lights, they are bright. If you hit a bump or something they do flash like you have high beams on.

Get a proper headlight adjustment and then you will know that yours are set as they should be.
Both you and others drivers will benefit if your's are not set correctly.
We go to a place that has an electronic headlight aiming machine. It cost us $45.

I have a 1" frt level and readjusted my lights afterward and I have never been flashed . Well except that one time at WalMart but I wasn't in my Bronco :)

Lol I get this all the time but on Friday night someone in front of me really wasn’t having it and was “waving” at me out the window. I proceeded to flash my high beams to let them know it’s not that and I can’t do anything about it right now.

I do find it hilarious when I get the occasional Flash because I don't think the lights are even close to being bright but other people apparently do from time to time LOL

any mods or major weight gains on the back end of the vehicle?

it's not unheard of for the lights to be not properly adjusted straight from the factory

I was getting flashed in my new F-150 Raptor with Low Beams on. I pulled it into my garage and adjusted them. They were aimed a good 3" too high.

I think the problem is that the auto highbeams turn off too quickly, and a lot of other drivers don’t see them turn off. So they just assume your highbeams are still on because they never saw them dim. Heck, I was driving my departments F350 one night and wasn’t even bothering with the highbeams because its halogens weren’t really any better on high. And I got flashed even though the low beams put out the light equivalent of three match sticks. After that I started using the high beams only so oncoming drivers could see me switch them off ;)

Sometimes it’s someone trying to alert you to something ahead - like deer or a cop.

Sometimes, it's just people. I notice if I run my fog lights (OEM lights, nothing crazy) that I get flashed a lot more than not - but most of the time it's deer or someone over on the side of the road.

I have a Jeep (no shaming! :)). But have a Bronco on order - waiting. My Jeep has LED lights and I used to get flashed a lot since they sit higher, like the bronco. A simple Phillips screwdriver adjustment down just a little bit, and the flashes pretty much all went away. So I am a believer in these taller vehicles to just aim down a bit and it will fix the issue. Plus everyone seems so sensitive to headlights now!!! Like everything else.

Probably just an old guy like me with crappy night vision and driving a low ass '97 Subaru Legacy commute car. Seems like all the new SUV's and pickups with LED's are on high beam, I used to flash occasionally until I realized it was me, lol.

Some will say that it's because the Bronco sits higher than your average Corolla. When I get flashed, I just turn on my off-road lights as if to say "You wanna see bright?"

hahah…it’s so hard to tell these days.. the Ford pickups seem the worse. I just grin and bare it and look away a bit.. What happened? I used to love night driving…you get older and wear glasses and now it’s all just a big glare! :)
