I have a 2-door Bronco and am interested in a rear-seat delete. Has anyone tried the Goose Gear or other aftermarket options out there, and if so, how do they hold up? Any downsides (other than the obvious - no more rear seats, duh)? Thanks in advance!

I'm going with a custom sized sliding tray. The guy building it should have it ready within the next week or so. It's the 1st one built for a 2 door with deleted seats. I'll post pics once it's installed. I think the final dimensions ended up around 39"x46" so it will fill the entire rear area .

When I had my 2dr OBX I had the Goose Gear rear seat delete, I really liked it, gave me a nice flat floor. I still have it if anyone is interested.

I'm working on a raised platform that will go over the folded down rear seats. It will be modular so the seats can be used when necessary. It will also allow ~4" drawers in the rear for storage. I'll start posting the design imagery soon :)

I have an early made 2DR Goose Gear seat delete kit and I have a 2022 bronco built in June-July. One mounting hole on each seat delete panel did not line up correctly to the body. I did not drill any new holes and I left the old holes open. The panels are still secured with other mounts, it's just missing on one each panel :( The rear "trunk" panel was good.

All in all I am happy with it and I don't think about the mis-aligned holes. The coating has held up well so far. A great product in all but costly.

How are you guys getting rid of rear seat belt fault after taking seats out?

Two options. Pull the female housing off the seat and keep it plugged in and tucked under the floor.

Or you can use a 2 Ohm resistor across the connector to simulate the seat belt.

I read that the resistor for the buckle doesn't work consistently, so I just have mine tucked under the floor. For the reels I used a 2.4 Ohm resistor. I believe anything rated 2.0-2.7 Ohms will work.

Started installing my Goose Gear double seat delete today. FedEx forgot the box with the Plate System so I just installed the seat sections. They still need to do some fine tuning. The outside stud for each seat still pokes above the wood a little. When you tighten down the outside bolt on each seat plate, it pulls the plate down in the corner. I added a spacer under wood. They need to add a 1/4" spacer near the outboard bolt hole, at least for the carpeted floors. One of the holes for the large bolts in the seat delete didn't match up with the threads in the floor. Had to enlarge the hole. No big deal cause I know every Bronco doesn't come off the line exactly the same. Will post after I install the rest, probably tomorrow. For the price, it should be a little better.
