Got super glue on the dash 😭 Looking for advice

Steamer and a good rubber eraser. Steam it really hot, dry it, then rub with eraser. Rinse, repeat. Avoid solvents at all costs.

I was going to suggest peanut butter or country crock spread, however after more research and changing content filters, Loctite has different options. https://www.loctiteproducts.com/en/know-how/fix-stuff/how-to-remove-super-glue.html

Try putting some good duct tape over it and peeling it off. Gorilla tape comes to mind. Just pray the gorilla tape adheres to the super glue better than the glue adheres to the dash.

My daughter recently broke a bottle of bright pink nail polish in my F150 and got it all over the door panel. Thought I was screwed but tried acetone and it took it off without damaging the hard plastic. Don’t forget the stuff comes in a plastic bottle.

I'd be careful too with some of the ideas posted, even mine. Usually acetone works for me. Maybe on a cotton swab and only touch the super glue...then wash right away with water. I know the acetone will dissolve the glue each time it is applied and make it weaker and maybe it just falls off in time. Maybe also a 50/50 acetone water mix? I'm not sure how it will react if it touches the dash though.

Bob Smith Industries is fantastic. High quality non-professional glues with a huge range of products for the application.

"Super Glue" is typically just a very thin polymer. If you were using the cheap stuff from the grocery store in the tiny little aluminum tube, I wouldn't anticipate things like those blue chits to stay on through various weather.

Haven’t tried anything yet and it’s taunting me while driving.

Another thought. Most super glues are not water proof...Maybe just water and a sponge..apply again and again and again...day after day...that is the safest and I bet over time it comes out.

Do you think you can scrape it off with plastic razorblades? I've used them successfully in the past to remove similar types of contamination.
