So i have a Non Sas badlands that i want to make look like the sas. If I put sas flares on my truck what offset would I need to run in order to be even or slight poke on sas flares?

I would think +33 like the Sas package but the doesn't look to be the case? So confused

So I have a non SAS badlands and am doing a rpg perch lift and want 35” nitto‘s with Icon Rebound wheel I can’t wrap my head around the offset to get the tires to the outer most rim of my standard flares or maybe 1” past any help is apreciat3d.
"0" offset will give about 3/4" to 1" poke. If you have a small level kit, you might also think +6 offset, to bring it back very close to the fender wells.

I figured +18 would poke more. I am trying to find what offset i need to make mine slightly wider than sasquatch
Should be 15mm wider than sas. But then there is back spacing and the tire width itself.

So I think I want to go with this set up. Any thoughts. I am probably going to go with SAS flairs. Will these poke a little? Any thing I need to know when ordering tires and rims?

The concept of both width and offset affecting backspacing (a more important measurement) is often overlooked. My rule of thumb to get perfect poke would be 0 offset on an 8.5” rim or -12 offset on 9” width. those are 2 most common width/offset combinations I see in the wheel brands I shop
Hi, wanting to pick your brain. I was looking at a 17x9 rim for non sas badlands keeping the current 33 KO2 tire. The rim comes in a -12 and a +1 offset. The -12 is going to push that out even further than a 8.5” rim with 0 offset. Wouldn’t the +1 offset on the 9” be closer to the 8.5” 0? Please explain your reasoning on the -12. Thanks, much appreciated!

There are backspacing calculators available on the internet, but for the 3 sizes in play here:
9 wide, 1 offset = 5.04 backspacing
9 wide, -12 offset =4.53 backspacing
8.5 wide, 0 offset = 4.75 backspacing

so +1 is .29 more than the 8.5/0, -12 is .22 less

to me if going only 33” tire I’d probability do the +1, it will be closer to factory handling, less scrub radius etc. pushing it out farther is more important when u get into the larger tire sizes, to keep those tires away from things it can rub on. closest thing to 8.5/0 would be 9/-6 but those are hard to find

on the flip side of keeping it closer to factory, lower backspacing gives u more poke if you are going for that look
