I have a Two door black diamond sitting at dirt mountain. I ordered the maxlider 4 inch lift kit and do not have the Sasquatch package. The maxlider package states “This kit will allow you to use up to 37x12.5" tires on a 9" wide wheel with up to -12 offset”
I plan on putting 37x12.5 tires but am unsure about the wheels. I ideally want the Fuel Saber which comes in 20x9 with +1 or +20 offset or 20x10 with -18 offset. I would like for my tires to stick out with my flares or maybe even out of the flares some but still want to be able to turn, what should I go with?

The next question is what do you plan on doing in your rig? Just a mall crawler ???

Just posted this in another thread about a guy with a OBX:

So, assuming the stock offset is +55mm and the wheel sits flush with the stock fender
+55mm = 0" poke (all stock Bronco wheels?)
+30mm = 1" poke (Sasquatch wheel)
+18 = 1.5" poke
+00 = 2" poke
-12 = 2.67" poke

More importantly, I don' think I would run that big of a wheel on any Bronco with the smaller front axle (40lbs+ wheel + 80lbs+ tire = broken stuff). Nor would I use a spacer lift to try and fit that large of a wheel.

You are correct on all counts. There was a similar question posed by a follower of BadxBronco where Ben posed it the rest. The guy went with Methods and 0 offset and the 37 Mickey T's were stuffed. I recommended that the person consider a negative offset to accommodate the thick rubber. Of course, as you mentioned there are other concerns on the smaller front axle to also paint problems caused by too much poke beyond the flares.

Been struggling with this, so correct me if I am wrong: it seems the wheel width should be a consideration as the offset is based on the centerline of the wheel and a wider wheel at the same offset would therefore have inherently more poke. Many of the aftermarket wheels (most?) that I have looked at are at least half an inch wider than the stock wheels on the Badlands I have in mind; not sure about wheel width on the OBX.

Yes, if you are comparing to a stock Bronco 8" wheel, then the wheel width difference would be divided in half and added to the poke.

Yes I don’t plan on off-roading, I have 1975 bronco & matching golf kart that I take to car shows and just plan on using this as a grocery getter/daily nothing wild.

You'll need to take a look at the instructions that come with the kit for additional modifications needed for 37". The offset you choose may impact how much of the frame you'll need to trim. If only street or light trail use, this isn't an issue. Note that this isn't unique to the BDS/Zone kit - it applies to all 37" at suspension extremes. Note that the kit does not have any recommendations for 37" wheel offset.

Do you know how to handle #8? say a stock Badlands wanting 35's with stock wheels, how could you do it, or would a wheel/offset allow it to be done with out an extra lift?

You could add 1" wheel spacers to the badlands wheels or replace with new wheels with offset similar to sasquatch. You might also want a Zone $60 level kit (raise front 1").

thanks, thats my main question, WILL small lift allow me to use +55 offset stock wheel, if not then i need new wheels WITH slightly different offset like +30 same as sasquatch, i hoped just small lift, however, a lift doesnt exactly do the same thing as offset on the wheels right? the 55 offset could still rub on the inside?

These are 35" K02's on SCS 17x8.5 -10 offset an OBX SAS. Also 1" Zone offRoad level kit.
