This.

Heritage is the best deal when you compare the various trims.
I thought about buying one instead of BD but I canā€™t stomach the plaid interior. It wasnā€™t a good idea in the 70ā€™s either. No one I knew thought it was back then either.

It took the Heritage for me to finally pull the trigger and make use of that 2020 reservation!!! Interior and squared fenders are reminiscent of my ā€˜88 Ranger SuperCab XLT, my 1st real 4x4ā€¦šŸ¤¤

I like the idea of the gorilla tape for the pinch weld covers, what width and color variation did you use?

I have mixed feelings on this one. I adore the HE as is or with tasteful mods. I feel like the dealership could have used a base model and gotten similar results. When you put 20s and glossy painted surfaces on a vehicle, all the rugged "outdoorsiness" goes out the window for me.

Edit - Just noticed, this vehicle is located in Mexico City. It is for the Cartel crowd, not for American consumption.
And it's no longer a Bronco
It's a mule

Geez hopefully a few more people out there do similar mods on a heritage so thereā€™ll be some nice cheap heritage oem
Takeoff wheels available, fingers crossed, would love a extra set, some more plaid would be great also

Plaid was huge selling point for me , wonā€™t looked all wrinkled and saggy after 2 months

This appears to be in Mexico, wonder if the trims are not all available there? Not sure, but yeah, would think fenders + flares and paint wouldā€™ve been a better route than a HE

I'm trying to see the logic here. Instead of spending $55,600 on a HE (2.7/mid/HT/Sas), you'd start with the $60K BD (2.7/mid/HT/Sas), then spend $5k(?) on fenders/flares/paint bringing the total to roughly $9-10k above the HE to begin your build?

All I was saying itā€™s that itā€™s not in the states. It looks like they only have 3 options in MX ford website. Not sure how their pricing works on the models. Usually Ford reserves special trims at a higher price point in other countries

Mexico gets the Heritages and looks like the local Ford price is 1,489,000 (only MY23 price listed for a standard) which converted is close enough to call $90k USD. The only one cheaper is 1,438,000 and that's for an Outer Banks which of course doesn't give you the squared fenders or mod top.
