Right. I thought getting built was the hard part. Granger is not in a rush to deliver either. 2+ days after delivery to hear from Finance. 4-7 days for PDI. Available for pick up by appointment and only 2 Saturdays a month.
I was at the end of the big slug that came through. So perhaps they had more people available to do PDI at that time.

Everything went pretty smooth at the end with Granger, only hiccup I had was a big one to me, they "lost" my wire transfer for a couple of days and found it in another account even though I used all the numbers they sent!

Okay, I'm trying to install my IAG front mud flaps and for the life of me I can't get the center screw push pins out. What is the trick? The philips head screws just spin and spin and don't actually come out. Do I just brute force pry them out with a flat head screw driver and destroy them since there are replacement screws and push pins that go in their place for the mud flaps?

Get a small flathead behind the head of the screw and pry out lightly while unscrewing them.

The screws are too tight to get anything behind them...I think that is the problem. I got one of then out by brute force and wanted to see if I could unscrew the screw while holding the plastic housing with pliers, and the screw just spins and doesn't unscrew at all.

I stand corrected. I did manage to get a very small flathead screwdriver blade under the head of the screw and did as you suggested and put slight upward pressure on it as I unscrewed it. Thank you for your wise counsel!

Buy a set of trim tools. You’ll need them for mounting other accessaries as well. They normally come with thin tool that looks like a dull pickle fork. That gets behind the push pin and provides pressure to allow the center screw to grab as you turn it.

Nothing new, just hadn't posted it up lately.

I have the four door in Azure Gray and ordered a 2 Door (same color and will trade in the 4 door), been built since 3/1-hasn't moved since. I plan to remove the script, add the black Bronco script with red bronco logo, and do black wheels. I haven't decided on which wheels yet. You're bronco give me inspiration. The capable bumper has grown on me.

Thanks, weren't you the first on here to get their HE? I know you were the first AGM HE! If you don't need the space 2 door is the way but truly there's not allot of room if you have to tote around passengers. Picked up a friend at the airport the other day and with three of us in the truck I had to fold down one of the seats to fit just the 2 bags of luggage!

I'm not really sure what to do with it next??? threads upon threads of people making changes but it's usually for a purpose and right now my Bronco is just a daily driver so there's no reason to upgrade anything for commuting purposes. I'd still like to change out to the more spear side decal vice the double pin-stripe and then the tune would be nice but it's still plenty quick to outpace most traffic as is.

You've done the wait before and no there's no rhyme or reason and no explanations ever from Ford on the hold-ups but at least you got one you're driving now!

I'm going to ask a dumb question... I picked up my RR 2-Door Heritage yesterday. I just noticed it doesn’t have the bottle opener on the roll-bar. Is that because it's not added to the Heritage or did they stop adding it to the 2024 models or is it a 4-door feature only? I'm super curious. I was never going to use it, just liked the idea of it being there.

My Heritage is being built 8/12/24. Can you tell me your experience with the navy plaid cloth seats? Wear? Cleaning? Do you like the look? I ordered the shadow black. Thanks.

Most of us have only had them at the maximum one year so wear might be tough to tell. My experience has been cloth seats hold up way better than the pleather ones. This assumes you don’t use your vehicle as an in car restaurant. The looks for me aren’t great considering they don’t really match anything but they are dark enough not to stick out. I’ve actually had quite a few compliments on mine but perhaps they were being polite! As far as cleaning, just a light vacuum and you are good to go.

Appreciate your response. I’m hoping I like the navy plaid enough to pull the trigger. I have a 2023 BD that I really like and a replacement Heritage is due to be built in August. The navy plaid-I agree doesn’t really match anything-is the only hesitancy I have. The tires, flares, lights, running board, porthole rear top, 12” screen, white grill and top plus the overall style are what sold me.
But that blue and plaid 😟

Katzkin is always an option and several HE owners have replaced their cloth with leather. I have a few configurations ready in case I have the same reaction when I see mine next week.

I wouldn’t let that stop you from pulling the trigger. It’s not obnoxious and the rest makes it well worth it. As @ColoradoBroncoFan and @mjcutri say, you can easily cover if it really bugs you.
