Phil Long was one of the dealers that complained to Ford about Granger/SAC/Chapman. In Aug/Sep of 2020 I called Phil Long Denver to inquire about pricing and spoke with the GM and was told likely MSRP. I was looking for a solid answer, not a wishy washy response. When I mentioned that other dealers were offering better deals, he said those dealers had been reported to Ford and would be shut down. I have purchased quite a few vehicles from Phil Long. All they needed to do to get my Bronco business was to offer something modest, but nothing.Phil Long Ford-Chapel Hills. No ADM also I told them no silly add on like the flashing brake light mentioned above Not an issue. I believe they only add those to the vehicles they buy for stock.
Also their accessories guy Zach is top notch
When you are asking about ADM, also ask about doc fees. I don't know what is normal in Colorado, but through this process, I have learned that Phil Long's doc fees are high compared to many other dealers. I was always under the impression doc fees were fairly consistent between dealers. I'm now under the impression that Phil Long partially makes up for attractive pricing through a higher doc fee.
I will likely not be buying any more vehicles from Phil Long even though they are only a couple of miles from my house. Even though I was still buying vehicles from them, I stopped using their service dept a long time ago because I always felt like they were trying to upsell me.
