Hi, i need help with low boost issues

Hello, I got question about boost levels
I just installed JB4 tuner and in map 4 is says 4psi over stock I only sow 17,9 psi ?!
Is the stock psi in sport mode 15psi?

Boost is additive based so it depends what your map0 or factory boost is! Post up some CSV logs if you'd like us to check them out.

Pretty sure the stock boost level is around 18psi max but that'll depend on atmospheric conditions. A Ranger Raptor pushing 20psi blew apart its charge pipe. Linky: Boom!

I've not heard of that happening on the BRaptor but it'd be interesting to hear from some of the others who are pushing things more. Me? I'm stuck at stock boost levels for another seven long years.

Seems low 14 psi max boost stock . If some one else have same number it’s means it’s normal .
The owner before me leased this Branco , maybe dealer did something?

Won't be driving today but I'll check my numbers and report back. I'm at about 700-900ft. elevation. Not sure I have anything to get a DA reading unfortunately.

Stock is approx 18 PSI
I have the FP Tune and regularly see Low 20s on a hard pull.

Are you sure the JB4 tune was properly installed (and, still active).

Post the CSV log at full throttle, 40-90mph on a safe private track!

Thank you to Terry from BMS , really responded fast . He checked jb4 log and its works like it shut no issues there . I probably will go to local ford dealer to ask them if they see sow same level off boost before

Yes, all installed good. On map 0 stock 14 psi , switch to map 3 17,9 psi. Map 3 ads 4 psi so it’s working fine

14 PSI is low. You should be seeing 17.9 PSI in stock form and once tuned, increases from there. Good luck!

(Mine is not a Raptor, only the 2.7L)

Mine will push 21-22psi with the ProCal tune under load.

If I control the throttle the right amount (not to the floor) I can keep it between 17-19 for a good pull.

Shut I go to the local ford dealer ? Can they update the software maybe ?

Personally I'd unplug the JB4 completely and see where you're at. I know it "fools" the ECU so perhaps this is why it's reading low. It's not an actual boost number but the fictitious one fed to the ECU by the JB4.
