Hold on all 2-door orders?

I am researching to place my order for a Bronco and one dealer, who seemed pretty knowledgeable, told me that Ford told them in December not to place any orders for 2-door vehicles until further notice. Does anyone have any insight into this?

Not sure if Ford would send out communication like that without it also being leaked about on the internet.
As 2 DR orders are MIC restrained, it's likely that Ford still has a shortage of MIC tops for the 2dr to fulfill the current orders.
If you are set on a 2dr and don't mind waiting, place or order and get in line Otherwise it seems that going for a basic 4dr soft top will get you a Bronco sooner.

Possible a 2dr basic build might also arrive sooner, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Yes, WBDO locked out ordering 2 door, Hard top and V6 a while ago. I assume already sold out for the year.
