Hold on tight: Bronco production coming to full halt due to MIC top problems

I’ve got word that Bronco production is coming to a full halt due to problems with MIC tops. Stay strong brothers and sisters.

I’ve been sitting on this for some time along with some other stuff.. But know that most people want the source and I don’t want to burn the employees..
Plus I’ve heard the same thing from multiple different and unrelated sources so find it hard to believe it’s just coincidence. If you read into well informed posts you get the same info, they just don’t want to say it..
Tomorrow is going to be a big day was the last I heard..

A *full halt*of Bronco production is NOT among the options I've heard of.

Would that commodity constraint have anything to do with cars having a certain number of doors, or the part of the car that keeps rain out?

looks like maybe Haartz supplies the fabric, and Webasto puts it together with the framing, and sells it to Ford as a unit.

It looks like they supply the 3ply cloth material that the top is made from to the actual soft top producer (webasto i believe).

Can't they make soft tops?

The soft tops are nothing to brag about people posting there fraying already and scratching the paint off of the inner roll cage bars. Shut it down and let them fix what needs to be fixed I don’t want a 52000 piece of shit

Lol how is this anything different from what he said? He said production will be halted, you said it will be a “temporary” stoppage. Halt, stop it’s all the same in my book. He never claimed it was a long term thing.
