hoss 3.0 rack programing issues

So funny after 3 yrs Fords still too stupid to come up with a solution better than mine.

Or to even begin offering it for anything but a SAS Bronco!

Use Forscan to populate the dummy VIN into the BCM (I think it's in the BCM)
Use FDRS to program your rack
Use Forscan to populate your actual VIN back into the BCM
Clear all codes and drink a beer

I like the the last step.

I had the same issue on my 2022. i have the ford programmer and downloaded the software for the rack but same thing wouldn't work. So i call ed the ford performance number and had a ford specialist log on my computer and change a bunch of code he says its a bug with the 2022 builds
they were super helpful

No sir been on the phone with Procal to see what they can do
Took it to a buddy shop he was able to download the stock rack file but the new rack won't take it IDK

Oh man, that sucks! Would your old rack even work at this point I wonder, just to get you on the road?

I might just return this rack and go back to the oem Hoss 1.0 lol it lasted 75k miles
It just blows that the dealership have no idea what they are doing

Did your friend try to install a known VIN from a WildTrak or Badlands with HOSS 3.0? Your stock BD rack programming won't work, but he could trick it with a VIN that does work.

@Snacktime has said that the FDRS method works on every model right now and you can easily program the rack with a $100-200 adapter and $50 subscription. So may need to spend more to make it work vs. undoing your labor hours and ending with the inferior setup.

why don't you have them follow instructions on the correct thread here...? My rack-hack has worked flawlessly for several years, for EVERY bronco.

No its an FDRS sub. @RagnarKon did a video at one time saying you can get a 3 day sub for $25
